Our New Irrigation Design and Management Class will be held on Saturday, June 27th and will be held on location at a new teaching ranch in Grass Valley.

It's that time of year again for the Auburn Cruise Nite car show. The 2009 season begins Friday, May 8 from 5 to 9 p.m. on Lincoln Way in Downtown Auburn. The car show will be held the 2nd Friday of each month starting Friday May 8 through September 11, 2009. Admission is free to the public and you will be able to enjoy the classic cars, food, music and more! Hope to see you there!

The town of Auburn offers affordable residential living with 124 active single family home listings ranging in price from $105,000 for a 1 bed/1 bath 580 sq ft home to a 5,875 sq ft home on .56 acres in Canyon Rim for $1,786,000.

There are 27 pending sales with average days on the market at dropping to 87.

There were 42 sold listings in the last 3 months with average days on the market of 108. List to sales price increased to 96.3%

The rural areas in and surrounding Auburn include the areas of Loomis, Newcastle, Penryn, East Lincoln, Meadow Vista, Colfax, Weimar, Foresthill and South County of Nevada County. There are 381 active listings on acreage which is a decrease of 27 from last report. Price ranges from $164,800 for a 2 bed/1 bath home on 2 acres outside of Auburn to $6,900,000 for a 3000 Sq Ft home on 1,047 acres in Foresthill.

There are 87 sold listings in the last 90 days with average days on the market of 80. List price to sales price has remained steady at 95%, showing buyers are stepping up to the plate and getting good deals.

I wanted to report back to you to let you know what a great time we had. Everything turned out great. The food, mocktails (yes, mocktails), the auction and raffle was wonderful. The decorations were really nice. The music by Shameless was really good. You can hire them by contacting them at dimcadd@gmail.com. They actually played a song by The Eagles. Made my night! The kids came in to help and serve some of their community time. They were so helpful and were a little shocked when they asked me how much I get paid for doing this and I said nothing. I told them it was for them. The kitchen became completely quiet. I am so happy to have met all my new friends while attending the Leadership class and doing this project together. Life is busy but I hope to keep in contact with them. It's been an experience I will never forget.
