It's that time of year again for the Auburn Cruise Nite car show. The 2009 season begins Friday, May 8 from 5 to 9 p.m. on Lincoln Way in Downtown Auburn. The car show will be held the 2nd Friday of each month starting Friday May 8 through September 11, 2009. Admission is free to the public and you will be able to enjoy the classic cars, food, music and more! Hope to see you there!

There are 27 pending sales with average days on the market at dropping to 87.

There were 42 sold listings in the last 3 months with average days on the market of 108. List to sales price increased to 96.3%

The rural areas in and surrounding Auburn include the areas of Loomis, Newcastle, Penryn, East Lincoln, Meadow Vista, Colfax, Weimar, Foresthill and South County of Nevada County. I wanted to report back to you to let you know what a great time we had. Everything turned out great. The food, mocktails (yes, mocktails), the auction and raffle was wonderful. The decorations were really nice. The music by Shameless was really good. You can hire them by contacting them at dimcadd@gmail.com. They actually played a song by The Eagles. Made my night! The kids came in to help and serve some of their community time. They were so helpful and were a little shocked when they asked me how much I get paid for doing this and I said nothing. I told them it was for them. The kitchen became completely quiet. I am so happy to have met all my new friends while attending the Leadership class and doing this project together. Life is busy but I hope to keep in contact with them. It's been an experience I will never forget.

This real estate business is a great business isn't it. On Friday I had a short sale approved (we wrote the offer in early November and now the bank wants it closed in 3 weeks). Hurry up and wait. Then on Saturday a call from a family, that was introduced (referral) to me by some friends. They want to move to the Meadow Vista area. Saturday night was the Lions Project for Canine Companions for Independence. Our Lions Club tended bar for the evening. We did our best to adjust the attitude of the crab eaters. This is the last Crab Feed for me this year - 4 is enough. Sunday, I got a price reduction on one of my listing. So what is Monday going to bring? I look forward to finding out. I will let you know!
