We've all read autobiographies, a history of a person as written by that person. Or perhaps we prefer to think in terms of an anthology, such as the Beatles Anthology, which is a collection showing the history of the Beatles spanning many years. In the case of the Beatles Anthology, the actual Beatle band members were part of selecting the material included. This helps us to not only learn of the Beatles but also to learn what the Beatles thought of themselves, which is even more insightful.
As we blog, we leave our own history of sorts. Our opinions, our strengths (perhaps weaknesses), our local area and any topic we blog about are reflections on us. We all know bloggers whose "voice" we have come to know in a larger sense than any individual blog that they may have authored.
This idea was brought home to me not long ago when I learned that a fellow AR blogger had passed. Even though he is gone, his blogs are still there. His blogs are, in a sense, a history of him and thus they serve as an anthology or, to play on words, autoblography.
What autoblography will you leave? I suppose that this depends in great part on which "you" that you share with your reading public. Given that most of us blog to inform our readers and spread our presence to grow our business we are projecting a certain "self" to our readers. Sometimes we share a bit of our personal "self" and most often we share our professional "self" but, every time we blog, we are sharing something of ourselves.

So, think back for a moment. We all have blogs we've written that are on our own favorites list. Our own choices may not even be the posts that are the most read but may be a favorite for any number of reasons. Are these favorites the ones that you would choose for your autoblogrpahy list? How would you decide which posts should be on your autoblography?
In my short blogging venture I've only written just over 100 posts so far so. At least for now, I only have a rather modest-sized library of posts to choose from. Some of you have authored thousands of posts and so you would have a much larger library to draw from.
Regardless of size of library, the question remains the same. Which ones would you choose for your autoblogrpahy and why?
As of early 2012, my selection would be:
Fair Maiden, a story of love and yearning in Property Management
Have you ever seen a whale with a polka-dot tail?
Have you ever had a listing that made you sad?
This is my very first AR blog post!
Benicia Rental Homes - “Like a box of chocolates”
We are all visual creatures and like our eye candy
In my case, my selections are based on each blog revealing a little bit about the “real” me as I see myself. I don’t take myself too seriously and I don’t get too worried difficulties that come up as I try to always see the lighter side of things.
What blogs would you choose for your autoblography? What "you" will be left on this world wide web for others?

Benicia Short Sales, will my home sell? This question is often asked when we talk to homeowners who are underwater. Each situation is different but for the most part, short sales can be successful.
They automatically think because their home mortgage is more than what it can sell for, the home will not sell. This is not true. As a Benicia Short Sale Agent, it never fails to amaze me that this question comes up every time.
There is so much saturation of information, it is brain overloading to most people. Their friends, family, co-workers, media are the fountain of information, however is it correct information?
My business partner and I made a business decision 4 years ago to learn all we could about short sales and that learning never stops. When others shunned us, when buyers said no way, when sellers cried for our help, we made it happen.
Fours years later in 2012, everybody (and agents) is a short sale guru or at least they think they are. Short sales are not easy but they can be successful. A successful Benicia Short Sale Agent knows the local real estate market, markets your home to get the highest price, is fully knowledgeable and experienced in getting the short sale approved, is a counselor, negotiator, pit bull, time manager, and hand holding communicator. They are the glue that holds the short sale all together to get the home sold.
If you are considering selling your home for less that what you owe, you owe to yourself and your future to work with someone who knows Benicia Short Sales, in addition we always advise you to talk to your CPA and an attorney. As Short Sale Agents, what we do best is real estate and get your home sold, the CPA can help with tax questions and the attorney with legal advice.
Benicia Short Sales-Will my home sell? It is worth it to call and find out!

Benicia CA homes for sale have dropped by 43% since October. We have been lamenting about the scarity of homes to sell as the buyers are out it in full force since the New Year has started.
This statistic came up as I was updating my website for Benicia CA and Vallejo CA homes for sale and sold numbers. In October of 2011 there were 86 homes for sale in Benicia. AS of today, 2-12-12, there are only 47 homes for sale.
Folks..... that is not a lot of inventory...... I have not seen this low of inventory since the height of the market in 2005.
What can that mean to those sellers sitting on the fence about selling their home? If you want a good market price with multiple offers, now is the time.
It does not matter if you are underwater with your mortgage or a conventional seller, your home will sell! For those distressed sellers, don't be afraid to seek information about selling your home "short" from an experienced Benicia Short Sale Agent.
Call or email me if you want more information about what is going on in Benicia Real Estate and how much your home may be worth.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery in the world of Benicia Property Management

In our quest to become the best Benicia Property Management company, we at Delgado have implemented many strategies previously unknown in this market.
One of the hallmarks of Delgado Property Management is our quality photography. Others have written about camera selection in order to achieve high quality results, but there is so much more to it then that. Lighting, composition, and a combination of both an artistic eye and a technical ability all combine to produce high quality images.
At Delgado, we have become known for producing NUMEROUS, WELL-LIT
AND BEAUTIFUL photos of Benicia rental homes. We also include shots of surrounding areas in our listings or also in our larger marketing presentation. We want folks to know how beautiful this overall area as well as individual neighborhoods are.
Clients have noticed our photography. Renters have noticed our photography. I suppose it was inevitable that our competition would notice our photography. Looking around, it seems that others are now including numerous photos instead of just a handful and are including photos of the surrounding area, which is new for them to do.
I just want to say “Thank You.” Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
However, if the imitation is to be genuine, you may want to take a closer look at that blurry, dark tree photo that you included in your listing. That whole blurry and dark thing may not convey quite the message you are looking for.
