My family in Palmdale has enjoyed using “Safe and Sane” fireworks in the past however this year we are opting for a professional fireworks shows.

When using “Safe and Sane” fireworks remember:July 4th

  • Have an adult present
  • Always read directions and use common sense
  • Only use outdoors away from buildings, vehicles & dry grass
  • Keep others at a safe distance
  • Never point or throw fireworks
  • Never alter or take apart
  • Do not give to young children ever
  • Have a bucket of water handy for dousing misfired and spent fireworks
  • Don’t attempt to relight or fix malfunctioning fireworks

Your Pets don’t like it at all take these precautions:

  • DO NOT take your pet to fireworks displays
  • Your pets should be kept indoors at home in a sheltered quiet area. Turn on the television or radio at normal volume to keep them company
  • DO NOT leave pets outside alone. They may try to escape and become lost, or become tangled in their chain, risking injury.
  • Make sure your pets are wearing identification tags.
