Day by day, hour by hour we take great leaps towards getting our community back. Again today those affected by the devastation of the tornado in Windsor Colorado and those who are wanting to help meet and clean. The streets are passable and the debris is leaving the yards. Roofs are covered, windows are boarded up and electricity is coming back. The best news I can share it that spirits are still high and all sharing the same goal.
Look for pictures in the future days.

Wow, what an amazing day. Yesterday was the first day homeowners that were hit hard by the tornado in Windsor, Colorado were able to get to their homes and assess the damage. Once they had time to see what their home was like it was time to call in the community to help; and help Windsor did! From noon until 6:00 at night (curfew still in place) we worked. We cleaned yards, found boxes, loaded boxes, covered what we could, secured homes and moved people. You see the pictures on television but they are just that, it isn't until you are there with the debris, your friends and family that you understand the magnitude. It will be months and possibly years before our community is whole again. As Windsor recovers I will share the path so maybe if this happens in your town or city you will be better prepared.

Yesterday my family and I spent the day helping families who have been displaced by the tornado in Windsor Colorado. Now I am looking to my professional network to help answer many questions. If you can help I would love to hear from you.
I know this just the beginning of questions but these are the basic ones I was hit with yesterday as I cleaned up the area. Please feel free to share as much as you know. This is all new ground for us here in Windsor.
Keep us in your thought and prayers. Today is day four of the recovery!

Hope all your families and friends are safe. we have been putting together a team to go and help with Chainsaws and clean up crews. Very scary, but very nice to see how helpful people are to one another in emergency situations.
