Candlewood Shores Real Estate, Brookfield CT

Jonathan Hall Danbury,CT Real Estate~203-417-0523 : Real Estate Agent in Danbury, CT

If you are looking for a home in a lake community, the Candlewood Shores development in Brookfield should be on your list.  The community is very accessible, right off of Candlewood Lake road and is only 5 minutes from I-84 and Route 7.

With almost all lake communities, there is a variety of home styles, sizes & price ranges. Many of the homes in Candlewood Shores sit on around a 7000 square foot lot. Some have a garage, others don’t.  Some of the original 1950s ranches & raised ranches have been added on to over the years, while others remain modest homes.  There has been some construction of new homes on some of the remaining lots. Even some of the small homes sitting directly on Candlewood Lake have been torn down  to make way for much larger homes.

Because there are large variances in sizes, styles & waterfront vs. non waterfront homes, prices are all over the map. There are currently 18 homes on the market in Candlewood Shores (per CMLS 10/5/09), with prices ranging from $209,900 to $1,875,000. The average listing price is $705,800, which is weighed heavily because there are 5 waterfront homes listed over $1 million. The median listing price is $385,000.

Candlewood Shores offers what many consider to be the best beach on Candlewood Lake. There is a playground and sport field facilities within the community. There are limited boat moorings, on top of a boat ramp. Throughout the year, community events are held.

"BIOS IS LIFE"

MIND, BODY, SPIRIT, EARTH

We are all connected

Our goal: To create an international organization that is a model of social responsibility,

making your life green, healthy and sustainable.

Steve Schappert of Bios Painting and Maintenance invites you to the

BROOKFIELD BLOCK PARTY

"BROOKFIELD GOES GREEN"

September 11-13

ONE TOWN, ONE PARTY, ONE GOAL...UNITED WE STAND!

The Goal: Promote the town of Brookfield with a unified marketing effort, while educating the public about healthy, energy efficient living. It is possible to help people, save the planet and boost the economy. You can do well by doing good!

Here it is in a nut shell: If every business in town rallies under one banner, "THE BROOKFIELD BLOCK PARTY" We show the world how great the town is. Everyone put your best foot forward and provide an extra reason for people to come and do business with you. Face painting here, popcorn there, live music on every corner. One town, one party, one goal... we all work together. Everyone in town that currently advertises on the radio, mention the Brookfield Block Party, TV, newspaper, Internet, direct mail whatever you do, mention the Brookfield Block party. I will have event signs made and approved by the zoning board. Special Event Signs are allowed to be up for 30 days before the event. As interest builds I MAY provide booth space under a tent or group of tents I operated this event 3 years in a row from 94'-96'

Keep it simple, invite your current clients and people you want to add to your list of friends, customers and associates. The compounded effect of every business in town running a special promotion will be substantial. Brookfield does not have a town green, lets embrace who we are. If one business in a strip mall provides hot dogs another face painting, another popcorn. We will give people a reason to stop in and say hello while learning about our businesses. Call one of our local bands and offer some live music...do one thing!

Some of the events that we created the last 3 times were:
Live music, live radio telecast, DJ, hot air balloon, Chile contest, Fire truck display, custom/classic car show, talent shows, dance and martial arts displays, face painting, free balloons, raffles, sail boat race, inflatable moon bounce, health & wellness festival, Sidewalk Sales. The Sky's the limit let your imagination run wild!
XBOX / WII TOURNAMENTS, FRISBEE TOURNAMENTS, GOLF OUTING, KARAOKE.
LET'S SHOW THE WORLD WHY WE LOVE BROOKFIELD
