During the annual Riverport Festival, held in downtown Cromwell in September you can view these historic homes, it is a short walk from Main Street to the Connecticut River. The Riverport Festival is a great time to bring the town together for a day of food, arts and crafts .This is also a great time to view the history of Cromwell, with most of the historic homes in walking distance from downtown to the Connecticut River.
