Jimmy’s of Watertown, CT

Not to knock more popular establishments like Dunkin Donuts or IHOP, but seriously, they are a dime a dozen. While they may have great selections of breakfast items to choose from, they are too ubiquitous and lack a certain…charm.
There aren’t too many places where I would go out for breakfast, since the local Howard Johnson’s restaurant shut down about a decade ago. Even Friendly’s doesn’t cut it (although the family has other ideas).
A friend of mine took me out to Jimmy’s of Watertown last year…and I fell in love with the place just like that. So much so, that whenever I have needed to have early morning meetings, Jimmy’s of Watertown is the place that I have recommend ed for anyone to go for a power breakfast.
Jimmy’s of Watertown has great food – buttermilk pancakes, hash browns and sausage cooked just right, and in the right sized portions too - are just a few of the many breakfast items on the menu for those who want a good breakfast to start the day off just right.
If you want to start your day with its most important meal in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, with great service that can’t be matched, then Jimmy’s of Watertown is the place to go.
Opened in 2000, Jimmy’s of Watertown is owned and operated by Mr. Angelo Ligi, who, along with his son Nick and other family members have run Jimmy’s of Watertown for the last 9 years, providing the same level of service and family atmosphere that have made Jimmy’s of Watertown a fixture in Watertown .

Watertown Fall Festival 2009 - September 19
On September 19, Watertown hosted its annual Fall Festival at Veterans Memorial Park, on Nova Scotia Hill Road. Vendors from all over Watertown set up tents to display their products and services for all of the Watertown area residents to enjoy.
Saturday was a positively delighful day for the Watertown Fall Festival to take place. The weather cooperated beautifully - the sun stayed out and kept everyone reasonably warm until the eveningtime, when the Festival was just about over, and it was fun being able to meet with and speak to so many different people.
