Watertown Fall Festival 2009 - September 19
On September 19, Watertown hosted its annual Fall Festival at Veterans Memorial Park, on Nova Scotia Hill Road. Vendors from all over Watertown set up tents to display their products and services for all of the Watertown area residents to enjoy.
Saturday was a positively delighful day for the Watertown Fall Festival to take place. The weather cooperated beautifully - the sun stayed out and kept everyone reasonably warm until the eveningtime, when the Festival was just about over, and it was fun being able to meet with and speak to so many different people.

4th Annual Watertown Historical Society House Tour
The Watertown Historical Society will be sponsoring a tour of five fabulous Watertown homes this Saturday, September 26, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Watertown Historical Society House Tour is for the benefit of the Watertown Historical Society Museum. Tickets are $25 per person in advance, and $30 on the day of the tour. Tickets can be purchased at the Watertown Historical Society Museum, Watertown and Oakville Libraries, Chubba's Health Complex, LaBonne's and online at www.watertownhistoricalsociety.org.
The five homes that will be toured in Watertown are the Warner-Pope House, the Hungerford House, the Foote Farmhouse, the Atwood Gustafon House, and the Lilley House.

Winding Brook Farm, Watertown, CT
Winding Brook Farm is a subdivision of Watertown, CT, located off of Platt Road on the western edge of Watertown close to Route 6 as it approaches Woodbury. The Winding Brook Farm subdivision gets its name from the winding brook that meanders through the area, which was once a large farm in the early part of the town's history.
Winding Brook Farm is a recently developed area, with the oldest home in the subdivision dating back to 1988. The majority of the houses in the Winding Brook Farm area were built in the early 1990's. There are currently 48 homes in the Winding Brook Farm section of Watertown, CT, with the lot sizes ranging from 1.38 to 3.38 acres. There are a few undeveloped lots in the Winding Brook Farm subdivision. The houses in the Winding Brook Farm area are predominantly large colonial style homes, with a few equally large cape cod and contemporary style homes included.
Residents of the Winding Brook Farm area can enjoy a healthy, leisurely stroll along Winding Brook Farm Road as it dips down and up over the many small knolls and hills in the area.
