Dunedin Causeway - Florida sun, blue skies - indeed, who can ask for more? Dunedin Florida offers a great place for walks and runs in the Florida sun right on the causeway!

Those of us who live here are spoiled, there is no doubt! We have some of the most beautiful beaches in the country at our doorsteps.

Perhaps that is why there are always so many people taking advantage of the great weather to walk the Dunedin Causeway out to Honeymoon Island State Park! This 5-mile trip out and back again is a great way to start the day. Since you are walking on the causeway and over bridges (three of them), there are constant breezes blowing, making this a really enjoyable way to get some exercise and work on that tan at the same time!

See you out on the causeway..........Ronnie and I get out there at least once a week for a change of pace. Crystal Beach is beautiful for my morning walks but every now and then a change is good and Dunedin Causeway off the coast of Dunedin Florida is just the place!

Florida even has snake fish! Yes, it is true, just about everything imaginable is found in our waters here in the Sunshine State.

Ronnie decided to do a little fishing while I was walking the Dunedin Causeway yesterday and he managed to catch a snake fish!

Needless to say, I had to take a photo to share with everyone! They have TEETH, so if you ever catch one, take it off the hook CAREFULLY!!!

Dunedin Brewery - Dunedin Florida - Great Music & The Best Beer Around!

Dunedin Brewery, located at 937 Douglas Avenue in beautiful downtown Dunedin Florida is THE place to head if you want great local beer! Dunedin Brewery is the oldest microbrewery in the state of Florida and the only place I know of that makes an Apricot Peach Ale that is the perfect thing on a hot summer afternoon!

In addition to a great selection of beers and a wide variety of tempting treats to go with your beer, Dunedin Brewery brings in some of the best artists for your musical enjoyment.

Dunedin Florida - February 2012 Market Update

The market is changing rapidly and as the inventory decreases we are seeing the market change from a 'buyers market' to a much more even market........sellers are getting demanding since they are seeing the changes! Median sold prices are increasing a little, as shown by this graph from RealEstate.com, and our local economy is looking good!

I find it interesting to look at these charts and see what is going on across our nation but have to stress to clients that what is REALLY important is what is going on in your LOCAL market.

When I hear the news media generalize about what is happening to the real estate market and they quote national figures I find it irritating since EVERY market is different! People need to remember that and do their homework. If you are working with a Realtor, you can easily get local statistics. That is just one more reason why you should be working with a real estate professional, who can guide you each step of the way.
