Downtown Dunedin, Florida

Patricia Harris: Real Estate Agent in Dunedin, FL

Yesterday I was in a pensive mood and needed to take a break from the office. It was a day I needed to get out and enjoy my hometown of Dunedin, Florida. I brought along my camera so I could take some pictures to share of our quaint little town. Dunedin has lots to offer. You can start at the western end of town and find our city's marina which is a beautiful spot for a sunset. Head further downtown and you will find unique shops and restaurants to enjoy lunch or dinner and perhaps a cocktail. Dont' forget your sweet tooth!! There's a chocolate shop and an a brand new ice cream shop on Main. You can taste wine at the Wine Tasting shop and you can listen to Irish songs at Flanagan's Pub.

Dunedin shares the Pinellas Trail, bike and walkway which goes through downtown Dunedin. In fact there's a bike shop and a small cafe located adjacent to the trail.

History buffs will enjoy a trip to the Dunedin Historical Museum located in the 1923 Atlantic Coast Railroad Station in the center of downtown. Visitors can enjoy learning about our history and locals enjoy many of the exhibits throughout the year.

With so much to do and see in Dunedin, it's no wonder that visitors return and local folks come often to dine, shop and just enjoy our town.Dunedin's MarinaStreet Sign in DunedinPinellas TrailThe Bike ShopIce Cream Shop

I am always bragging about my hometown of Dunedin, Florida because it really is Delightful as it is often referred to as "Delightful Dunedin". It is a lovely waterfront area that I am happy to call home. I both live in work in Dunedin. I have a real estate office on Pinehurst and SR 580 known as Celtic Realty, so called due to my ethnic background. Last July, I got married to a terrific guy who also has called Dunedin his hometown for the last five years. We got married at the lovely St. Andrew's Chapel, in Hammock Park and had our reception at the Dunedin Country Club. We purchased all the flowers and wedding accessories from Dunedin businesses and we had our friends and relatives stay at the Blue Moon Inn on Alternate 19 in town. Some friends who traveled by RV stayed at the Blue Moon as well. Needless to say, all of those in attendance were delighted as well and really enjoyed their stay and visit with us in Dunedin. At the end of our wedding day we all had dinner at the new downtown restaurant Casa Tina and enjoyed a terrific show!! Dunedin has lots to offer and that's why we love it!

Dunedin Loves Dogs!

have recently had the pleasure of learning about Dog Eden. This is a grassroots organization made up of caring folks rescuing dogs. They are dedicated dog lovers and volunteers who bring dogs to Dunedin, train them, socialize them, vet them and keep them medically healthy so that they may be adopted out. They have been in operation since October, 2006 and so far up to the summer of 2008 have adopted out 54 dogs! Please visit their web cite www.dunedindogs.com for more information. Thanks guys for a job well done!

I Don't Do Rentals...

Patricia Harris: Real Estate Agent in Dunedin, FL

Lately, I have been getting alot of call from folks who want to rent property rather than buy it!! It seems to me that folks are just plain scared of buying. We have lots of inventory in our office as well as on the market and I know there are buyers out there who can afford to buy right now but I'm guessing that some folks are just plain holding back. Anyway I don't know of any rental available in Dunedin, Florida. If there are any readers who have some seasonal or annual rentals in Dunedin, please let me know and I will pass the word....
