Honeymoon Island has Sea Grapes everywhere! Sea Grapes grow here in Florida and throughout the Carribean. They have beautiful flowers that look like this:

The grapes can be made into jam or eatten raw, just like regular grapes. Sea Grapes need a lot of salt to survive. That is way you find them all over the islands here in Florida!!!! They cannot live through frost.

Caladesi Island's beautiful white sands are why "Dr. Beach" Stephen P. Leatherman named it the top beach in the nation for 2008! Leatherman called the three mile long island his 'favorite getaway beach'.
