On Friday night, as we do most Friday nights, my son and I were enjoying the incredible all you can eat Friday Night Mahi(aka Dolphin, aka Dorado) fish fry at Shipwrecks in Key Largo. (a quick aside..THE BEST DEAL IN THE KEYS!! $9.99!!! But we ARE going to keep this on the DL, as our little secret, OK??).
Anyway, for those of you who don't know, Shipwrecks is a friendly little locals' hole in the wall dive in Garden Cove, where it isn't uncommon to spark up a conversation amongst the neighboring tables eventually having every table join in. Well, being your Florida Keys Real Estate Conchquistador, when I heard the topic of Keys real estate...I immediately had to chime in!!
There was a really nice couple that had moved to the area from the Northern Territories of the US (Sarasota), and they were curious as to the Local Market. Well, that was my cue.... As one of the Keys' most ardent evengalizers of the incredible real estate values we are seeing, it was my duty, like a high spirited, Holy-Roller, Pentecostal Minister to make them "See The Light"!!! Can I get an Amen??

As I told her, The Keys are in a great position to Increase the volume of Sales as the worst of the bleeding has been evidenced to be behind us, and sales are defiantly picking up. Two factors will greatly impact our market, once Buyers see that bottom has been reached, especially on waterfront property, there will be a run to gram 'em before prices escalate and the extraordinarily HARSH Winter that the rest of the Nation has endured, has people saying,"Get Me Out of Here, I'm Moving to the Keys!!"
