Rocky Point is a wonderful small community located just off the Saint Lucie Inlet in beautiful Martin County Florida. Originally a fishing village because of it's proximity to the Ocean, Rocky Point is now a wonderful family community with many different neighborhoods. Most of Rocky Point is still oriented towards boaters with access to docks, marinas and launch ramps. Some neighborhoods have deeded dock rights as well as privately owned ramps and launch facilities. There is also a selection of some luxury waterfront homes with private docks located just a few minutes cruise to the open Ocean and within a day's round trip to the Bahamas.

Numerous excellent restaurants are just a short ride away. All this in a wonderful family friendly neighborhood within Martin County's 'A' rated school system.

Eric and Sarah had one goal - to escape the cold winters of Maine and spend time in sunny south Florida. As avid sailors, they had been to Stuart twice and knew that this town was the place for them - the closer to the water the better.

We hit it off well from the beginning and had a great time over two seperate weekends touring condos, duplexes, and townhomes that were within their price range.

The moment we drove down the street to one duplex that was on our tour list to see, they knew it was "the one." There was no picture of the property on the MLS so we were a little concerned that it wasn't in good condition but we quickly found that it was everything that they needed.

The bonus? It came with a boat slip on the St Lucie River!! This duplex was about 4 houses in from the river and came with a slip right on the end - big enough to house their sailboat. The duplexes on this street don't go up for sale often and we were lucky enough that this one was an estate sale so we were working with a regular seller and not the short sale or foreclosure process.

Eric and Sarah aren't planning on moving down right away but the big success - to me - is that we became great friends and we've already broken the home in with margaritas when they were down a month after closing.

Springtree is a beautiful small development just west of US 1 in Stuart, Florida. Conveniently located between Indian Street and Salerno Road, Springtree is close to shopping, restaurants, beaches and easy access to I-95 for commuters. The nice property is zoned for agriculture and can have horses.  It has plenty of acres and space for a Gentleman's Farm.  It also can just be a Gentleman's Estate.  Located in a quite neighborhood, this estate has beautiful landscaping and a 1500 sq ft. guesthouse.  It is very rare to find this much property within walking distance of a brand new Publix shopping center.  The neighborhood is laid back and a little lazy.  It is a great area and a great place to have peace as you enjoy the large pool and its privacy.
