Friends of Children of Brevard invite you to participate in a 5K run or walk to benefit abused and neglected children in Brevard County, FL. The event will take place on February 4, 2012 at Space Coast Stadium in Viera and all proceeds from the race will go directly towards Friends of Children of Brevard’s Guardian Ad Litem Program and the children it represents.

The theme of the 5K is “Superhero Run”, and all participants are asked to get in the spirit by donning a superhero costume and getting the whole family involved for a morning of fun and exercise. Prizes will be awarded to registered runners and walkers based on best times, best costumes, and largest team participation. The event is for everyone – kids, adults, runners, walkers, people out just for some exercise, serious runners looking to set a personal record – all are welcome to join in the fun!

What: Guardian Ad Litem Superhero Run 5K

When: February 4, 2012 – Run starts at 7:30 am

Where: Space Coast Stadium at Viera, FL

Who: Everyone! Kids, Adults, Walkers, Runners

How Much: Registration is $20 until Feb.3rd, then $25 if you register on the morning of the race day. There is also a FREE kids run that starts at 8:45 am

Friday, February 3rd, 10:00 to 6:30—Packet pickup & registration at Running zone across from Brevard Community College on Wickham Road

Saturday, February 4th—Space Coast Stadium, Viera
