Mondays set the tone for almost everything I will do for the week. I sat down on Saturday evenings and look at all I got done in the past week. Then I start pick 30 things off my my monthly , yearly or 5 year goal plan that I know I can get done the next week. How and where do I come up with these 30 things.
In December I put together my yearly plan while adding to my 5 year plan. I look at the 5 faucets of my life, family, religion, work, health and hobbies. I look at my goal poster and see what I can do to get me closer to where I want to be. I know that I can't work on all faucets every minute of everyday.
At the first of the year I came up with goals in the 5 faucets and here they are 20 for family, 5 for religion, 100 for business, three for health and 10 for hobbies. Now to the average person that would look out of wack but no, no, no. See I know I have limits and work is a priority for me I do not feel quilty because work supplies the fuel for the rest of the faucets of my life.
So how is your year going so far, are you on track, headed in the right direction.

Some mortgage settlement money diverted or Stolen, Which is It?
The ink wasn’t even dry on a settlement with the nation’s top mortgage lenders when Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon laid claim to a chunk of the money to avert a huge budget cut for public colleges and universities. Does this surprise anyone that money given to one would not be diverted or stolen and given to someone else. Come on really, can our government or Congress not do anything right. Some mortgage settlement money diverted $25B may not all go to owners. Some cash-strapped state governments say crisis hurt them and they deserve a cut. Read more.

Eliminating Inefficiencies in your Real Estate Business - Times a Wasting for sure. When I was first starting out in real estate I would allow myself to procrastinate, putting off everything till the next day or further. I would allow agents to sit around my office and just shoot the bull all hours of the day. All the time I wasted. 
Then I had a Broker that said he could break me of that habit so he gave me one month to come up with the curriculum to teach a time management class. Boy did he ever.
I put together a course that broke the days into hours with 2 hours a day for prospecting, two hours for door knocking and walking neighborhoods. Later the walking neighborhoods was replaced with internet farming. But I started each day with a 3 x 5 card with 10 things to get done each and everyday. The plan was to complete the list everyday although I thought it would take 8 hours most times it would take twelve after a while I got it down to about 9 to 10 through planing use of time management.
I now use an iPad with the cloud, Docusign, evernote and daily planner to accomplish more and more each day. When I turn on my iPad up pops the top ten things I need to get done today.

One would think with the Real Estate market such an easy fix, Congress would just do it. I mean how many studies do you think it would take and money wasted to figure out, the banks need to lighten up on what it takes to get a loan. Trim the fat out of Fannie and Freddie by simple replacing anyone that got a bonus in the last 10 years. Get all the regulations out of the way and lock up any lobbyist that comes with a 100 mile radius of Fannie or Freddie offices. Put people that have actually worked in the mortgage business for 25 years or longer in charge of Freddie and Fannie, fire all the sweethearts that got jobs because they were owed a favor or knew someone.
The Federal Housing Finance Agency laid out steps to wind down the firms, largely by increasing fees to homebuyers. Read more.

Most sellers are only concerned about the large selling points of their home. Perhaps the countertops have been replaced with granite. Hardwoods have been refinished with a shiny coat of polyurethane. All of this is great.
However, when a potential buyer sees your home, it is all about the small things. Those nit-picky items that can make a homeowner cringe and put off that honey-do list.

Dear God, Here I am again! Thank you for always being there to listen. I'd like to ask help for Christian organizations around the world. Whether providing nonprofit services, outreach ministries, or other Christian-run organization, they need protection from harm and evil; encouragement for the day; direction for the future. They face so many obstacles along the way...and Satan would love to ruin their work. I pray that you will give wisdom and insight to the decision-makers. I pray that the operations will run smoothly and without complications. I pray that every person who works in and through these organizations will be safe...and will remember that they represent Jesus Christ before the world. May they be blessed and you be glorified, as the influence of Christ goes forth. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
