Hi, if you can make it please show up for the Walk The Miles for a Child event hosted by the Paulding Child Advocacy Center on Saturday, September 20 for abused children. The walk will begin at the Chamber of Commerce building and go to the Paulding Child Advocacy Center house, which is located right off of the Silver Comet Trail about a mile away. After having an opportunity to tour the center and get refreshments, walkers will turn around and conclude at the Chamber of Commerce for food and entertainment.

$15 registration fee for walkers / $20 day of event registration contact Karen Burnsed

Hi everyone ,The MethAlliance of Paulding is a non-profit organization that was formed in March 2006 in an effort to address the methamphetamine problem in our communities. On Saturday June 14 we had a March against Meth fund raiser. As we all eagerly await spring there are a few things to do in the garden. This is the time of year to prune back your Crepe Myrtle and Butterfly bushes as they grow flowers on "new wood". Remember to sharpen and clean your tools beforehand. Do not however prune Azaleas or Rhododendrons but wait till after they finish blooming.

Now is also a good time to start turning and amending your annual beds and turn your compost pile of leaves.

Blue birds are looking to move back in their nest boxes. The Robins are back in full force and Sandhill Cranes have been seen going back north. All bright promises of spring.
