From the smile on my face and the beating of my heart I can not say thank you enough Tifton - 10 years you have supported myself and my team of Realtors. Our 10Th Anniversary celebration was supported by ERA and my fellow business neighbors, so we FILLEDa truck for United Way with can goods. To see your support and helping so many this holiday season we at ERA say THANKS - Brian Atwater/Atwater Insurance Agency , Ben & ShirleyDeVaughn - DeVaughn Insurance Agency, Glenn & Phyllis Doss/Talent Tree Staffing, Troy Tapp/United County Realty - A celebration we shall all remember - police sirens to a false alarm - flaming and smoking grill, oh but the warmth it gave - children running, laughing, playing - children that were not even thought of when the land or the home was bought, but to our customers we say thanks, and many more smiles. The coldest day so far for the year, and yes that was the day we decided to have an OUTDOOR PICNIC - 15 gallons of hot chocolate, 360 hamburgers, 220 hot dogs, 15 pounds of "Coleman Kitchen Chili" went a long way, we hope each and everyone that stopped by to eat and enjoy our celebration with us and help fill the truck for United Way a very good and prosperous New Year - Happy Holidays and a very BIG thank you . . . Ooooohhhhhhhh Doughnuts!!
Yes, that's what you will hear as you treat your office with a box full of doughnuts from Mi-Lady Bakery.
The smells from the bakery are heavenly and it is so hard to make up your mind when you see the trays of glazed, chocolate, caramel, crème filled and fruit filled doughnuts. It might be that you prefer the chewy fruit bars, cinnamon twists, apple fritters or the crème horns. These are just a few of the good things you'll find here along with their beautiful cakes and great tasting sandwiches.
Mi-Lady Bakery is located in Downtown Tifton at Brumby's Crossing. It is a 50-year-old family-owned, full line retail bakery. Chip Rhodes and his family are well known for the "made from scratch daily" delicious doughnuts, breads, pastries, pies and cakes offered at Mi-Lady. They also have a 40-item breakfast and lunch menu. Business hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday.

Let's Introduce Tifton, Georgia to Localism.....
Tifton, Georgia is located about 200 miles south of Atlanta, Georgia. Known as "The Friendly City" it is one of the best "hometown towns" there is, having been named one of "The 100 Best Small Towns in America."
Coming into Tifton along I-75, you're sure to see that Tifton is the Reading Capital of The World and has many restaurants, from fast foods to fine dining. You can also reach Tifton via US Hwy. 82 (also known as Corridor Z), US Hwy. 41 and US Hwy. 319.
Tifton was founded by Henry Harding Tift in 1890. Agriculture was the foundation of our town in the early days. Your visit to Georgia Agrirama will take you back to some of those days as you see the grist mill, farmland, sawmill, steam train and the country store.
Tifton has grown a lot since then. One of our most enjoyable times of the year is "The Love Affair" that is held in the spring. Many artists of various venues are exhibited on stage and easel. There is food and fun for all ages as they stroll thru our historic Fulwood Park. You may even find it is a good time to stroll thru the museum and art gallery.
Spring is one of the prettiest times of the year in Tifton. The neighborhoods are full of burst of colors from all the azaleas and dogwoods blooming. It is a joy to take a Sunday afternoon ride to see the scenery.
Downtown Tifton has much to offer. Here you'll want to take in a play at Tift Theatre or take a leisurely stroll thru the shoppes or pay tribute to our fallen soldiers at the Veteran's Memorial.
Is sports your game, Tifton has it. Watch the softball games at E.B. Hamilton Softball Park. Take in the latest "Blue Devil" or "Panther" football games at their respective stadiums. You might want to practice your golf swing at one of Tifton's four golf courses.
Then of course there are our great schools from kindergarten to high school as well as our beloved Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) that recently celebrated 100 years.
Come see us and you'll see why we are one of the best small towns in America! We'd love to have you!
