I've been a realtor for over 10 years and top selling realtor for half that time. In the past three years I have got #!1 Husband and wife team. I did the best move of my career and switched to Keller Williams and today had my first of many closings .... Yeah!!! Feb 17th We will have our next which will already make us reach the million dollar in sales for the year. We are painting Lake Oconee Red! With the red signs going up everywhere and referrals from other Keller Williams agents throughout the country it has confirmed to us we made the best decision ever. I am suprised that most of my clients have had tranactions with other Keller Williams agents elsewhere and loved the fact that Keller was finally at the Lake!

Lately, I have been doing a lot of work within the Harbor Club community on Lake Oconee. While there is quite a selection of existing homes available, the real deals exist in the price of lots of all types. On selected lake lots, owners will through in a golf lot as an incentive to buy. It's a great time to buy; don't wait to late! Call and let me assist you in purchasing one of these lots for your dream home.

Driving past my old home this weekend I passed my good friend's business just south of Greensboro. Dr. Rob Durham operates his Veterinary Clinic just south of Greensboro off of the Old Eatonton Highway. Recently, he completed some renovations and landscaping to include new fencing and two sharp looking
signs at the entrance to the clinic. These new signs tell of a unique family history.
"Doc" Durham started his practice in 1938 after graduating from the Vet school at the University of Georgia. His legacy is commemorated on the sign shown to the left.
Dr. Bobby Durham graduated from the UGA Vet School in the 1960's and joined his dad in practice. Dr. Rob Durham followed in his dad and grandfather, completing his veterinary studies at UGA in the 1980's. Rob has since taken over most of the practice, taking on two more doctors to assist with the increased area business.
Whether you have small or large animal needs, you can certainly depend on the doctors at Durham Veterinary Clinic. Call the number on the sign below whenever you
require veterinary services.

Dr. David Lowther (Southeastern Radiotherapy) and Dr. Bob Cowles (Cowles Clinic) are hosting a healthcare town hall meeting on Thursday, Aug 20th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Spotlight Theaters of Lake Oconee.
Unlike most of the town hall meetings seen on television, this event is not sponsored by a political party affiliate or PAC. Here is an excerpt from the flyer that has been circulated to area businesses:
This event, like Town Hall #1, is being organized by no political party, PAC, or organization and is the result of the efforts of a few concerned neighbors taking their free time to help in any way possible to explain and discuss the elements of HR 3200 and their potential effects on the citizens of the Lake Oconee area. None of the participants is an elected official and therefore has no power to affect policy beyond what anyone in the audience is capable of doing themselves. This is not intended to be an event at which all questions or concerns are going to be discussed or solved. It is a venue only to discuss concerns. Therefore, please be courteous and respectful of all you come in contact with, regardless of opinion.
1. Respectful, organized, courteous participation
2. No signs, no exceptions
3. A healthy, upbeat attitude !
This will, by necessity, be a first come/first served basis for seating so come early !
Refreshments will be offered at significant discounts to all participants courtesy of the management of Spotlight Theatres.
The Spotlight Theaters is located at 1050 Parkside Main, adjacent to the Publix Shopping Center near Reynolds Plantation. www.spotlighttheatres.com/find_us_parkside.php
