157 Southern Trace Crossing in Rockmart GA sold Oct 16, 2009 for $50,000. This cute home in the Southern Trace subdivision was a short sale.This was a great value considering the original purchase price was nearly double just a few years ago. GMAC was the lender on the property and I have to say that they were great to work with! Yes, once I was able to send the more than 100 page short sale package it was smooth sailing. (I had to send it repeatedly because their fax server memory was often full and e-mail is not an option for them. I hope that will change soon.)
Once they received it, I had great Loss Mitigators at GMAC to work with. The loss mitigators did change mid stream but both were professionals and a pleasure to
work with.
