The achievements of an organization are the results of the combined effort of each individual.

2009 is just about to end and most of us should be prepared for the upcoming year. This year has seen new challenges to say the least. In order to keep up with the coming times, we better have some type of plan. My broker, has made it "mandatory" for all of us to turn in a 2010 Business Plan. We meet twice a month and are to turn in our plan this coming Thursday. I have spent majority of the time today putting it all down and realize that I need to come up with more than words....I better plan on the action as well. I have seen or heard about REALTORS that I thought would never go out of business doing just that. Which tells me those remaining in the business need to really stand out! Or, we will get eaten up ALIVE!
Since I haven't done a tune in awhile, I would like to end this blog with one of my favorites. It does have me reflect on the year's events, personal and business, sad and good, all in all..a BLESSED year!

The average number of days on the market for homes in Pike County decreased to 154 days in November 2009, compared to 238 days a year ago, and down from 203 days in October 2009. Year-to-date, the average number of days on the market for Pike County homes has been 186 days, compared to 203 days in 2008.

One of a kind Art Creations By Artist/Illustrator Robin Goben-Lawver

I stopped by a shop located on the square in Zebulon the other day and was so glad that I did! I heard it was under new ownership and was completely delighted in all the "goodies" I came across while there! The name of the shop, Robin's Nook, offers creative art and gifts. The owner, Robin, does this out of pure enjoyment and it is clear that she truly LOVES what she does. My "quick stop" turned into about an hour of looking and talking with Robin. I felt like I had found a pearl inside an oyster shell. I hope the gifts I purchased will delight them as much as I enjoyed purchasing them.
