Floral Mysteries of Color and Style

There are so many picture perfect 'subjects' to get a shot of while touring the islands for memories; to look back on with wonder, One of them being orchids and floral mysteries that continuously astound me. The following shots were taken at the National Tropic Botanical Gardens in the Poipu Beach area on the island of Kauai. This is a Brassia type Orchid (below) but all types of orchids are abundant on all islands as well as worldwide.

As 2007 closes and 2008 begins, I took a few minutes this week to look back historically at sales for the area of Kauai that is close to where I live and work. I would like to share the data with you, this information was provided by the Hawaii Information Service.

It has been a fast pasted and exciting 2007 and the coming year is looking like it will be just as busy with interest rate competitive, lots of inventory to choose from. Plus ,we were seeing prices not to dissimilar to that of three years ago and of course the tropical splendor of this very special part of the world is still as spectacular as always.
