This morning was amazing. I woke up at 5am and put on the coffee. I looked out side and the sun was slowly lighting the horizon. The skies were clear and the wind had died. I have been thinking how lucky we are living in the Hawaiian islands, living on one of the best places on the planet! This is what I love about Maui's Northshore on mornings like this. So I threw my surfboard in my truck and headed down to Hookipa Beach. Five minutes and I am there and waxing up. Its still early, and just the dawn patrol crowd is out.
As I am paddling out, I notice that there is another local in the line up. A Hawaiian monk seal. He is just hanging out in the line up having a great old time. My buddy swims up, he was bodysurfing, and I point out our seal friend in the line up. He was hoping the seal would leave him alone, you don't need a frisky seal. My son was down at the point tearing up the surf, and I was hanging with friends exchanging waves in the line up.
My son
So after two hours of surf, time to get ready to head to Wailea to the office. As I was driving to work, I was thinking how Maui has been a good place to raise my family, and grow old with people that have been bless living here also. Maui is a magical place, it has a way of attracting people looking for the island lifestyle and getting off the tread mill. If you would like more information on Maui Northshore real estate, or other area's in Maui. Drop me a line for more information. For you windsurfers and kiteboarders wind is back on Monday, see you there at the beach.

I was on caravan this last Thursday viewing new properties on the market. Spreckelsville is a north shore community located right on the beach. Baldwin Beach is just steps away from a morning swim. You also have the country club right there for golf, tennis and the club it self.
This home was built by a local contractor, known for quality construction. It actually is a low maintenance home with little yard to care for, leaving you with more time for golf and surf.
Everything in this home is in top condition, has the feel of a brand new home.
So if you are looking for morning walks on one of Maui's finest beaches, access to great surf and windsurfing. This might be the home for you. To search for Maui properties check this link.

Windsurfers Dream Home in Spreckelsville Maui
I love this home, located just one house lot behind the beach. If you are on the beach add about $6M to the price. This home is listed at $2M and reflects the charm of a northshore beach house.
This home has a artistic flare that adds to the charm of this property.
This could be your dream home in Hawaii, steps from the ocean.
From the deck you can enjoy ocean views, also easy access for launching to windsurf from the beach. Check this link for Maui real estate

Wake Up - we're here to see the house....
Today I was showing some Paia Maui homes for sale to some new buyers, let's call them John and Sue. We managed to get into one home on very short notice, the agent gave us the lock box number and said it was OK.
It looked a little like someone might be home... pickup truck in the driveway, junk in the yard. I thought it was going to be vacant. So I knocked on the door and got no response. It was about 11 in the morning. I opened up the front door and peered in, and shouted out "HELLO". No response again. I let the buyers in to have a look at this property which is listed as a short sale. John walked down the hall to check out the bedrooms and turned right around and headed for the front door saying "let's get out of here, someone's home!". The tenant had been sleeping, but woke up when John entered the bedroom. I don't know who was more surprised, the buyer or the tenant.
First impressions mean a lot when it comes to real estate. This kind of thing really puts buyers off a listing and you can never undo that feeling.
Luckily the next home we saw was just the opposite, neat and tidy, with a smiling seller to show us around. What a difference.
Agents - Don't let a bad showing give your buyers a black eye!
Buyers - If you're thinking of moving to Maui Hawaii, please let me help you find the right home.
