My Favorite statement of the day!

Tony Brust Real Estate Agent, REALTOR, ABR, e-PRO, Pekin & Peoria IL Area: Real Estate Agent in Pekin, IL

So here is a statement I heard today..."there is nothing special about Tony's marketing, we all have access to it."

You know that is a true statement. Everyone has access to the marketing I do, it's just that not everyone chooses to take the time to use it! More than 80% of prospective buyers, according to the National Association of Realtors, start their search for a new home on the Internet. Don't you think that is where your home should be? That is why I spend many hours using my e-PRO skills and Internet savvy to market my homes on the Internet. I go to the place the buyers are.

If you want your home sold fast, let me show you my marketing plan to do just that.

text tonybrust to 50500 or send me an email to mailto:Tony@TonyBrust.com or Tony@WeSellPekin.com or call me at 309-208-7748

I would love the oppertunity to sell your home.

One of my favorite quotations

Tony Brust Real Estate Agent, REALTOR, ABR, e-PRO, Pekin & Peoria IL Area: Real Estate Agent in Pekin, IL

"Watch your thoughts, for they become words.

Watch your words, for they become actions.

Watch your actions, for they become habits.

Watch your habits, for they become character.

Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny."

I wish I knew who said this. We all have times of uncertainty, it is how we face those times that defines who we are. I always try to remember that I am not the only one who faces problems from time to time. I will also say that there have been times that I wish I had acted differently, we all have had times like that I am sure, but I try to remember this quote and do the right thing. Just thought I would share.

New Search Engine

Tony Brust Real Estate Agent, REALTOR, ABR, e-PRO, Pekin & Peoria IL Area: Real Estate Agent in Pekin, IL

I just found a new search engine because of a sales call from them. It combines Google, Yahoo, YouTube and more with many interesting features you do not normally find on a search engine. From What I have seen, it will make searching faster as it makes suggestions as you type, plus the scroll over feature is a strong enhancement.

Check it out http://www.leapfish.com

I normally use Google as my search engone, I think I am going to give this a shot!

How To Make It Through The Day

Jim Sikes, Managing Broker, e-PRO®: Real Estate Agent in Peoria, IL

As the theme song from one of my favorite TV shows of all time says - "Making your way in the world today takes everything you've got. Finding a break from all your worries sure would help a lot." Those words couldn't be more true than they are right now. Recession, unemployment, housing market woes, the stock market roller coaster, war, etc., etc. How do you make it through the day?

Well first, I think you gotta believe in something. Whether it's the Law of Attraction, God, Allah, Buddha, or Steve the crazy homeless guy on corner of fifth and main, some sort of faith must anchor you. No faith, no chance.

Next, I recently had the privilege of hearing the great Terry Watson speak and this one is his, but I thought it was brilliant. Boycott the news! Now, not entirely because you should know what's going on in the world, but don't listen, watch, or read in the morning or at night before bed. I get my news at 5 or 6 pm. I have been doing this for a little over three weeks now and I am amazed with how much energy I can approach the day. I am making things happen because I am not depressed. See the news shows do not exist to inform us, they exist to shock and sometimes entertain us, but mostly shock/bum us out. Have you ever heard the phrase, "If it bleeds, it leads."? When Cat did their first set of layoffs, all of the big news outlets came to town. They wanted to do a story about how Peoria was devastated by this.....well there was no devastation, some disappointment yes, some worry yes, devastation no. Guess what? They packed up their news vans hauled their butts right out of town because I assume the story wasn't depressing enough. Boycott them in the am and pm.

Finally, be there for each other. These are not just random people who are losing there jobs, homes, and pensions. These are our friends, relatives, and neighbors. Extend a hand when you can. We are all in this together whether you believe it or not. We have been through darker times than this and we always make through to the other side when we work together.
