2 weeks……2 weeks…………2 weeks…….2 weeks………. UNTIL THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL !!
Have you heard it? The clock is ticking!

Exactly 2 weeks from Tuesday, you’ll hear even more. There will be the frantic search; cabinets and cupboards being opened and closed. Drawers closed in frustration. Doors slammed.
Clothes will be taken from the closet. Some will land on the floor. Missing shoes will be retrieved.
Breakfast will remain untouched in some instances. Hairdryers will be humming. iPods will be removed from the bedroom, family room, car, …and other sundry places.
Running feet will be heard…out the front door. Car doors will be slammed; buses will be waiting.
Moms and Dads will start their engines. And they’ll all be headed to the biggest gathering of friends since summer began.
That’s right! You guessed it!
In 2 weeks, September 2, 2008** to be exact, the kids go back to school!!!
Wellesley Schools open their doors to welcome back their students in just 2 weeks.
For some, it will be the end of vacation; and for others,. . . it will be the beginning!

I love the ocean. I love real estate, but I LOVE the ocean.
All my life, I've marked each important milestone with a song by the Beach Boys. I left Wellesley High behind, to "Graduation Day." I enjoyed my summers to the sounds of "Fun, Fun, Fun," I whiled away many a monent to "California Girls;" and I knew I'd met the girl who'd become my wife as we cruised off the coast of Long Beach to the tune of "Sloop John B."
Well, my home town became the scene of many of my lifelong fantasies when the Beach Boys turned up in Wellesley this past week to "rock out." The home team turned out in droves, and even though the band is not quite the original Beach Boys, they sang the memories of our youth. Kids danced, parents grooved, and the boys from the class of Wellesley High '73 came home to the sounds of "Good Vibrations."
Wellesley is a great place to live; it's a great place to sell houses. And perhaps, one day, our very own "Beach Boy" may take up residence.

If you are buying a home, there hasn't been a better time in years. There is more inventory, fewer buyers, and sellers are pricing their homes much more realistically. Interest rates are excellent. Desirable towns like Wellesley have always been a good investment, as well as a wonderful place to raise a family. The first step in the homebuying process is finding an experienced buyer agent to represent you. Now more than ever, experience matters.
Homes that are priced right are selling. If you are selling call or e-mail me to find out more about how to price your home for today's market. The first step in selling a home is to select the right Realtor. I have over 15 years experience assisting sellers and buyers in Wellesley and surrounding Metrowest towns.
