Welcome to PoolesvilleThis quaint sign beckons all travelers to enter into the fair town of Poolesville. It reminds all of us about a slower-paced life ,different than what we all experience today.

This small town USA reminds us of days when we visited our Grandmother or cousins on the family farm. Having a Fried Chicken dinner on Sunday , everyone knowing our names as we stroll thru downtown or at one of the family friendly parks.

To keep this small town feel and ensure that everyone knows each other , the town sponsors a Poolesville Day. Main Street is blocked off and the parade begins and activities are lined up on either side of the street. Live bands play an assortment of music , children's activities are arranged thru-out the day and local business's can gain local exposure by sponsoring a booth.
