This Blue Cheese dressing is delicious and I thought i would share it with you. It can be used on salads or for those famous Chicken wings.

CHICKEN WINGS

15-20 Chicken wings

1 Envelope Hidden Valley Ranch dressing

1/3 Cup butter

1/4 Cup Franks Hot sauce (if you are brave)

3 Tablespoons Vinegar

Paprika

Preheat oven 400 degrees, dredge Chicken wings in Dry Salad Dressing mix, dip in butter or margarine,hot sauce and vinegar. Arrange on baking sheet, Sprinkle with paprika and Bake for 25 -30 minutes. turn over sprinkle with paprika and bake for another 15 min if necessary or until brown. (you may want to put a little more dry dressing mix on them)

BLUE CHEESE SALAD DRESSING

4 oZ. Good Blue Cheese

1 Cup mayonnaise

1/2 Cup sour cream

2 Tablespoons lemon juice

2 cloves garlic minced

1 tablespoon grated onion

They're Using the "B" word again in Calvert County. The Mid-Atlantic is about to get blasted again - another 10 to 25 inches predicted for the D.C./Baltimore area with the word "blizzard" in the mix for the third time this winter - on top of Saturday's 2 to 3+ feet in some areas.

And in this part of Southern Maryland - notice I use the word "southern" - bit of an oxymoron there - we were lucky. Just shy of a foot and a half and only 6 to 10 inches forecasted.

One would never know from these pictures that snow could wreak the havoc that's upon us. And as for selling real estate - wonder when anyone is going to be thinking about buying houses anytime soon - maybe everybody's looking online. I tried to go by a potential listing today - wrong. The road was a lane and half at best - turned around when the car in front of us got stuck. Oh, yes, and the house is back a lane of it's own when I look at the satellite view - I'm thinking MONTHS.

What do I like best about working at RE/MAX 100 in Southern Maryland? It started with the story that Gail and Dave Liniger would not sign the Corporate Lease for the RE/MAX Colorado Headquarters unless their Golden Retriever was on the lease. That's how the love affair started. It was slam dunk for me almost 25 years ago and several Golden Retrievers later, Riley Rover runs the Southern Maryland real estate roads with me now in the Jeep.

What do I like best about working at RE/MAX 100 in Southern Maryland? I like everything. I like the tech tools. I like the support. I like the collaboration with like minded agents. I like the perks of the RE/MAX International Organization. I like the private offices. I like the Lead Generation tools from RE/MAX Mainstreet. I like RE/MAX Satellite Educational Classes piped into my DISH. I like the RE/MAX Conventions. I could go on and on. But you know when you have found home, and I found it 25 years ago as a Southern Maryland Real Estate Agent at RE/MAX 100.

 

What is www.Yelp.com ? I just signed up for it tonight and already have my own www.GoldenResults.yelp.com address. You get to be a movie critic. Or more like you get to be an anything and anywhere critic. It makes me think of the cool Toby Keith song at first about critics, but I want to share that I wrote three FIVE Star reviews for the local Panera and two Starbucks but the next place deserved a zero and got a one star. I think you vote with your feet or in this case, with my Jeep wheels which will gladly avoid one particular Pet Store in Prince Frederick and take the trip to Annapolis instead. It's cool because you can rate a place, add information, and give kudos where well deserved. Or boots in other cases.

I also liked that this links to Facebook and Twitter. So your friends and family and clients all know the places you like best so they can give them a try. As a local Realtor, sometimes my job is kind of like the Yellow Pages. It's valuable to newcomers to have referrals on great places to visit and people to hire. A postcard arrived where the Department of Economic Development posted a survey for Business Owners to complete so that's when the www.ecalvert.com website caught my attention. Check it out!
