communicate with color words in unique combinations. The new language of Americans beyond what is taught in English classes. We look for new ways to have old words roll off our tongues, to tickle the ears of whoever is around us listening.
Many of the new words came out of the internet, computer information age from mouse to hard drive to down load. As real estate brokers we spit out many words unique to our industry. MLS scans, short sales, IDX feeds and a slew of media stream jargon from tweets to reblogs that are salt and peppered, colorful new words dropped in to describe our day to day activities, chores. "Jingle mail" a term where instead of a borrower sending in the home mortgage payment, the keys instead are slid in, tucked away in the loan installment envelope. The buyer is "upside down" meaning they owe more than the value of the place. "X" and "Y" Generation groups, babyboomers, all niche audiences to market too.
In college we had our own short hand for just about everything. We would round up fraternity brothers to go down to Orono Maine's Pat's Pizza for "Za's or "Gers". Somehow wasting the energy saying pizza or burgers completely out was too plain, not cool or with it. We would wash down food with bug juice which I was told later is a term from Vietnam vets for a slurp of Koolade, Hi-C or juice drink. Being around kids and listening to them tell each other "It's all good" when asked how "things and stuff are", makes you realize everything around us is being re-invented, re-created to keep it new and interesting. Funny new ways to say the anything but the same old same old.

Whether your credit has been damaged by a foreclosure, bankruptcy, slow credit, collections, judgments, repossessions, etc. we can help. We are the experts in credit restoration and credit repair. We have helped numerous residents of Maine. We are experts in Maine Credit Repair.
Tough times usually mean people and companies coming out of the woodwork to take advantage of desperate people. Many credit repair companies are part of that group. But there are also a number of credit repair services services that are really in it to help out a client (and if they make a few bucks along the way then that's ok too).
Take these easy steps to choose a credit repair company:
1) Google them. That's right a little old fashion research goes a long way!
2) Read their contract carefully. Know what you are getting. Do they offer a warranty or guarantee? If so what are the terms?
3) Does the company publish their physical address on their website. Sounds simple right. If they don't have an address listed - you have to wonder who they are hiding from.
4) Interview them. That's right interview them. Would you hire someone to work for you without an interview? NO. Why would you hire a credit repair firm without an interview? Be sure to ask them about their experience and about what specifically they will do for you.
5) Ask the credit repair company if they intend to use certified mail. Will they be in contact with your creditors or just the credit bureaus? Will they negotiate a settlement for you on outstanding accounts?
Credit Repair is not a magic pill. It is NOT going to take all your debt and make it go away. If you have lots of debt that you can't pay you are better off with a bankruptcy lawyer or a debt consolidation company than a credit repair company. A good credit repair company will be corresponding with both the credit bureaus and your creditors on your behalf. They will be attempting to get any inaccurate, outdated, or unverifiable negative or derogatory information removed from your profile.
Lastly, the best credit repair companies won't stop there. They will also help you to re-establish new good credit.
Please call us - we would like an interview!

Tim Comer was the crooner that had the following of this audience segment. I was Z-62 radio news director and did weekend music shifts after college.
The radio jacket Tim wore was embroidered with the expression "You are never too old to rock and roll?" He was in his early 50's at the time. Tim had goats, lived on a hobby farm with his wife and was trying to be somewhat self sufficient. But his on air Maine radio job was not like a job and he was good at it. In any product or service sale, your advertising has niche audiences but still overall, the larger the audience the better. Unless you are selling brain surgery tools, diamond cutting devices which are a pretty narrow market to tap in to.
The Bangor Maine radio arbitron ratings kept tract of who was listening each quarter hour. Our station had listeners tuning in for news that had local sound bites of the new makers, not just rip and read AP copy for something happening two hours away down state. It was local marketing, coverage of the community alot like the blogging we do for Southern Aroostook/ Maine.

obligation to spin a tail, share the news and maybe in some cases capitalize on the local colorful history of a home.
This is Stephen King's home on West Broadway, Bangor Maine. Do you think he and Tabitha would have liked it more if it was haunted?
Do you think it could be and is that always a bad thing if you are a horror writer with a terrific imagination and writing skill?
