Hello, today we are going to talk about some sites around Midland. The first is the Midland Tridge which is a 3 sided bridge that joins the Pine, Chippewa and Tittabawassee Rivers together. You can enjoy a walk across the river in all directions, park benches are included to sit and watch the sunset or your Grandkids play. The second is Dow Gardens which you can go for a stroll through the grounds, the location is on the South side of the Midland Center for the Arts on Eastman Avenue. During the Christmas season they have walks with Luminarias and Carolers. To be continued . . .

Whether you are new, visiting, or looking for something to do in Midland, YOU ARE IN LUCK! When i was a young kid growing up in Midland, I would always here everyone complaining that there is nothing to do in town. Well I am here to inform you that there is plenty to do and that you just have to look.
When i lived in Colorado i was an avid mountain biker. I loved the sport and missed it dearly once I moved to Midland. For eight years I was completely unaware of the rigorous mountain biking Mid-Michigan offered around the area. It was right in front of my face the whole time and I never knew! I didn't even think about inquiring about mountain biking in Mid-Michigan!
There are many others with stories like mine. Whether it is exercising on the rail trail, rock climbing in the community center, watching a play at the Midland Center For The Arts, volunteering for United Way or joining one of Midland's many softball teams, there is plenty to do in Midland. So if you ever find yourself bored or looking for something to do, ask your self, "What can I do today".
