Looking at these pictures of a Quik Trip in Wentzville, Missouri, you might think so. My husband went inside and asked why they had no gasoline.

One of the attendants said that they could have purchased more fuel, but it was a corporate decision not to. She said that the owners didn't want to buy it, because they would have to charge consumers more than $5.00/gallon for it. They didn't want to do that...

I got to thinking...If they would've raised their prices to over $5.00/gallon, all of the gas stations around them would've done the same thing... As it is now, gas prices are around $3.79/gallon at the other gas stations.

So, I think Quik Trip did us a favor. Thank you! :)

I woke up this morning in Wentzville, Missouri, looked outside, and noticed that it was raining. I wasn't surprised. I was expecting it. After all, the weather forecasters have been warning us of this deluge for days.

After the rain stopped, I looked at the rain gauge. Whew! 3 3/4 inches of rain in one day! That was quite a lot of rain!
