Like most people in America I have to commute to work, but I'm not looking for sympathy I would like to share my drive.

This is my kitchen window view, I get to see this every morning over coffee before the dreaded commute to work.

As I approach the highway entrance ramp my last glimpse of nature before the high-speed commute.

Another difficult merge into the throngs of sour commuters, I never count the cars but on this day I saw five in the first five miles of my hellish ride to work.

On the exit ramp I begin to wonder how anyone can live with all this pavement and urban sprawl, I have to get past that now and get on my "A" Game. It is work after all.

After that horrible 6 mile commute is over at least the views from my office window isn't that bad and I Allow myself to calm down before the day begins in earnest.
I hope you all have as terrible a drive to work as I do. If you lived in the White Mountains of New Hampshire you too would have to put up with these scenes every day so count your blessings.
Please no sympathy comments, this is my cross to bare and like all good workers I will make the best of it. steve@alpinelakes.com / www.alpinelakes.com / 800-926-5653

The golf Course is owned by former Master champion Doug Ford (a green jack winner in 1956), his son Mike and his wife. The course has never been in better shape, and many that visit and play say the fall foliage is their favorite time to visit the Woodstock New Hampshire course. Many of the return visitors tell me they have played the course for 50 years and even honeymooned here.
The food is great, the golf superber and the accommodations are first rate. You can rent a golf side condominium or purchase one of the few remaining places along the first hole of the course.
The on-site condominiums feature a screened porch, fireplace, and are uniquely designed to have a lock off hotel room as part of the condominiums. So you can book a place as a single couple or by opening up the lock off the 3 three bedroom plus loft duplex can sleep a big group.
The Post and beam covered bridge is one of the attractions for golfers.

The rail road tracks offer a sight seeing train in the summer, and snowmobiling access in the winter and the resort is only 6 miles from the Loon Mountain Ski area exit. A new indoor pool complex is currently under construction, the condominiums are starting in the low 200's and most come ready for rentals and are offered for sale fully furnished.
