Welcome Students

Princeton University Arches

Princeton is rich in history with traditions and lore and has been hailed by generations of Princetonians as "the best old place of all".

Princeton was the very first college to call her campus a "campus".

On a beautiful, crisp summer day I decided to take a stroll thru the University grounds and take in the beauty of the Princeton University Campus

Princeton Borough New Jersey's Historic Bank Street

Located in Princeton Borough between Bayard Lane and Chambers Street (behind our NATIONS Real Estate office) is Bank Street. I first discovered Bank Street when looking for a parking space and thought it was an alley. Much to my delight, I discovered a variety of Victorian Homes and un-metered parking spaces with a two hour time limit.

bank streetBank Street

Bank Street is designated "Historic District Preservation" by the Princeton Borough Historic Preservation Office.

The homes on Bank Street were constructed in the late 19th century as "modest residences". They are two story buildings, eleven total on the street. The homes are single and twins, featuring bay windows and wood sitting porches decorated with spindle valances. The exterior accents are also scalloped, diamond and fish scale. There are approximately eleven properties on the street, mostly all seasonally decorated for the holidays and now in the summer with plantings, flower boxes and decorative bird houses. The homes, sitting close to the street and each other are reminiscent of another time and place.

Featured Hot Spots for the Week of July 14th - Explore Princeton

Desiree Daniels: Real Estate Agent in Robbinsville, NJ

Trinity Hall - Princeton New Jersey Greater Mercer County Area - Featured Hot Spots for the week of July 14th, 2008

This is the second of my weekly series of "Featured Hot Spots" I'll be posting. If there is something you'd like to add or would like featured don't hesitate to reach out to me.

Princeton has always been a fond memory to me. As a child, my grandmother lived in Princeton and my brother and I spent many a summer day at Gram's house. Impi Daniels my grandmother "Gram" will be 100 years young this month. This one is for you Gram, Love ya!!

Princeton was every kids dream, with all the history and charm just walking the streets. My grandmother actually shared the company of Albert Einstein when she worked at the university as part of the maintenance workers. One of my favorite stops was always the Princeton Public Library we would spend hours just reading.

Princeton University Princeton is not just home to an Ivy League school, it is also a historical landmark filled with culture and leisure activities. You can tour through 18th and 19th-century buildings or wander through Princeton's Battlefield State Park.

If shopping is more your thing, you will be interested in visiting Palmer Square, one of the area's most upscale shopping venues with everything from clothing to specialty foods, home furnishings, and custom stationery.

Princeton is also well known for it's five-star amenities. You can get anything from a hamburger and fries to places like Mediterra and one of my personal favorites favorites The Ferry House. For some after dinner drinks, you may want to check out Triumph Brew Pub.

After a good meal and a nice stroll through this historic town, a great way to end the evening if you're in the mood to laugh you can go to Catch a Rising Star Comedy Club.
