Many areas around the country have definite seasons when real estate sells better thanLisa Wetzel and Jim Valentine Nevada Houses for sale others. In the Carson Valley, however, homes and land sell well year ‘round. Sure, sometimes there are more people looking other times, but often the “other” times’ lookers are more serious. The result is a pretty steady market.

We are near recreational areas, i.e.- Lake Tahoe, and are sometimes affected by holiday traffic. People visiting the area or relatives in the area often look at real estate while they are here for major holidays. Most of the time they are seriously casually interested. Yes, they are earnest, but are “just looking”. It is a dream of theirs to live in our wonderful Valley and they are starting the process to fulfill their dream. These convert to buying anywhere from 2 months to 2 years after they realize that they can live here and enjoy our lifestyle on a permanent basis.
