Fatal Accident in Flushing

06-04-09

Kin Tsui: Real Estate Agent in Flushing, NY

The accident happened at 12:30 in midnight. A car was smashed into a cape house on Horace Harding Expressway in Kew Garden Hills (Also known as Flushing) with zip 11367.

In Chinese Feng Shui, it is said a housefacing a road perpendicularis not good (A long knife pointing tothe heart); also a curve road with the road curved toward the house (A curve knife cutting the waist). I am not superstitious, but do believe the wisdom in a scientific way.

The House can be showed as example. The house is on 61st Road facing North, Exit Ramp from Long Island Expressway is about 45 degress toward the house, cars come out the ramp have to curve left to avoidhitting straightto the house. Houses with such criteria will just have higher rate of accident.

A New York City Feng Shui Consultant--And LUCKY CATS?

Carole Provenzale Owner, Feng Shui Long Island & New York : Home Stager in Locust Valley, NY

As a New York Feng Shui Consultant, I am often asked ONE question: Does my home need to look like a Chinese Restaurant? It's a common misconception with Feng Shui and I tell them absolutely not.

When making suggestions for any changes necessary, I always seek to work not only with a Client's budget but their style as well. Quite often nothing needs to show at ALL and some of the Feng Shui "remedies" we use are common objects such as lights or plants.

Still, I wouldn't be honest with my client's if I didn't pass along a story and leave the decision up to THEM about whether or not to use this one thing. Some find it funny, some take it seriously but in almost all cases my clients report back that they have purchased one and used it---and have had good results.

Val Allocco first wrote about this about this long ago-the blog dates back to 2007 and was an account of our attempts to find a "Lucky Cat" in Flushing, New York.

My Quest for the 'Lucky Cat'

We did and at first we found the results funny....she had set her cat up prior to me and called me the next morning. She had received two jobs just that morning.

We laughed about the "power" of the Lucky Cat. A few days later, I set mine up to "beckon" in the good, new Energy from the front door. And that very day I myself got three Feng Shui Consultations. Neither one of us are without our Lucky Cats now and we don't laugh at them anymore---EVER!

Queens Feng Shui Business by Feng Shui Long IslandIn Feng Shui Offices, make your new space your OWN.

I do mention this to my clients because I don't believe it's a coincidence. I believe I am solely responsible for a HUGE increase in Lucky Cat sales : ) Do they look odd, out of place, absolutely ridiculous? Maybe. Do my clients use them? Absolutely!

Here is a recheck of an office still undergoing changes....this was taken after warming up the space with a beautiful yellow color and if you look down in the right hand corner, you'll see it---her Lucky Cat. They're NOT just for homes!

Feng Shui Queens Business by Feng Shui Long IslandDo YOU Believe in the Lucky Cat?

If YOU try one, face it toward the Front Door. If that's not possible and you do a lot of work on your computer, have it facing your computer...and don't be surprised if your phone starts ringing.

Btw, I heard from Val recently. She's put her heart and soul into her business and it's doing VERY well.....as she wrote in her email "Be careful what you wish for."

It was on Robinson St between Cherry Ave & 45 Ave in Flushing.

I don't know how it happened, it was a clam day, no strong wind.

One of the car-owners live in Kissena Co-op which I sold a lot of units there. The old lady recognised me and asked me if I could take some pictures for her to show insurance company. I took some pictures and emailed to her son right after I went back to office.

This is our third Club Chaos Eye Candy event where we run parallel but dueling contests: ONE for PHOTOGRAPHY (APR-ECP04) and ONE for VIDEO (APR-ECV04). As previously stated, we are looking for your very best eye candy ladies and gentlemen and we want you to submit quality work worthy of a featured post.

Club Chaos will be hosting this Active Rain Contest with a little help from our friends, so please pay attention to what is mandatory and what is optional. As requested, we rotated some of the groups and have introduced Fraishe Aire and PAWS into the mix.

Each member has a choice of entering one or both contests. 200 points awarded per contest entry. If the work submitted is selected for placement, the 200 entry points will be rolled into the winning point spread. Contestants may only post one link for each selected media a candidate decides to work in (e.g. you can not posts two entries for photography or two for video, but you can post an AR Blog link for one contest category each.)

The panel consists of 5 judges: Debe Maxwell (NC), Melody Botting (TX), Amanda Hall (TX), Cindy Tsui (NY) and Carolyn Tann-Starr (NY).

Members choosing to participate must design and publish their original content specifically for Localism.com. "Members Only" posts are prohibited from entry. All entries must be PG-13 Rated.

Active Rain Channel: "Club Chaos Eye Candy" has been created for your entries.

Section 3. You must post your contest submission(s) in Localism.com for failing to do so disqualifies you. This is a very important point so I will say it again: FAILING TO DO SO DISQUALIFIES YOU...
