Inwood is located on the South Shore of Long Island, about 10 minutes from JFK Airport. It is easily accessible by car, bus and the Long Island Railroad (LIRR).  Inwood is the first of the 5 Towns after Far Rockaway. It is home to the Inwood Country Club, a private golf club.
