Now that I am addicted to golf, I had to find a place to practice after the snow started falling. I found Creekside Golf in Girard. It is a domed area that I can hit the ball 80 yards to the back wall. It also has a bullseye for hitting the ball up in the air. So far I have been practicing with my 8 iron and my pitching wedge and it is exciting to hit the back of the dome. This is a popular spot with lots of golfers practicing their swings. They even have 2 golf simulators you can sign up ahead of time to play. I still like the range better. They are open 9 to 9 everyday, but ask for a calendar as I arrived yesterday eve to practice and found that some eves they have soccer practice and the driving range is closed. I believe there is outdoor golf/driving range in the summer, but probably won't use it then as I have several courses closer to home. Here is the condos at Fonderlac Village. The condos in this picture face the 15th green. All the condos have a view of the golf course. I love my view the best which is similar to picture below. You can see the golf course and Lake Evans in the background. I live in a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo with a gas fireplace. There is an attached garage with 2 parking places and some additional storage. The fireplace keeps me toasty warm on those cool winter nights. The only bad part of living here is no golfing in the winter. The condos are located down a private road. It feels so private. Lots of trees and birds and nature! I can go walking here everyday. The Lake Club is a private country club offering an exercise room, dining room, golfing and more.

After the long hard winter months what more could one ask for then a beautiful spring day. The sweet smell of the flowers blooming , the sounds of kids playing outside , the sun shining down on your face, neighbors out cleaning up their yards ...All the joys of spring...You could not ask for more...

Well if your a Car Guy....(and live in the Northern States) You look forward to the road salt washing away with spring rains, the dust coming off your car cover, the first smell of your hot rod starting up and the ever present smell of fresh rubber grinding the asphalt as you go through the gears of your beloved hot rod...yes spring a great time of year...

What else do you the Car guy I mean (person) like to do in the spring? Well if your like me you love going to the swap meets and car shows to find that one part you need to finish a project or find a new project to start on or spending the day with the kids looking at the classic cars...And this years list looks to be a good one.

One of my favorite events is The Canfield Swap meet held every year at the Canfield Fairgrounds. I have been going to this event for ...well its been so long I don't remember how long..lets just say a long long time... They hold a Spring, Summer, and Fall event there every year...I have only missed one event they held there in the last 7 or 8 years...that's how much I like it..

It is only $5 a day or $7 for the whole 3 day event

Free parking.....yes free parking it doesn't get cheaper then that...

The vendors, the staff, and Dave and Ed put on one of the best events in Ohio and the surrounding States. Dave and Ed drive around in there golf cart talking with people and making sure everything is going ok ...It is by far one of the best events I go to And I go to a lot of car shows and swap meets. And if you see Dave or Ed you can tell them Zane sent you ..but it will not do me any good because they will just think it was my dad that sent you....
