Here are my comments on Jersey Boys. The script is well written, the characters are real, the set is unique and constantly changing, and the music is, well it's just like it was back in the day. I remember it. When the first hits of the Four Seasons began to rise in the charts, I was around 14 years old. I liked the sound then and I still like it now. I've read that technically this is not a true musical because the dialog between the characters is not sung, it is spoken.
The Toronto performers are professional and up to the task. Personally my favorite cast member was Daniel Robert Sullivan, who plays Tommy DeVito. Jersey Boys Toronto is presented in a first class venue, the Toronto Centre for the Arts. I recommend the show and here is a link to a web page that offers a discount to "Share the Boys with a Friend".
PS - As an adult, I listened to Frankie Valli perform live in the 70's at a place named Caesars Monticello. Check out Frankie's web site for his current show schedule.

Toronto home owners are detecting those nasty black or green mold stains now the air moisture is higher due to Autumn weather. Mold and clean homes are normal, don't think that mold says you have a unclean home. In every home, miscellaneous parts crack over time and sometimes it takes a while to find it. That’s usually when mildew crawls into your beautiful home, overlooked, until you either discover the well-known unpleasant smell or you spot the atrocious growing stains. The bathroom and kitchen, high moisture areas, are a common space for mold to multiply all year round in some homes. With the same solution it doesn't matter if you have dampness due to higher air moisture in the fall or a steamy kitchen year round.
Do you use specialists or undertake the DIY method?
Before spending your hard earned money on employing a company of professionals, have a peek at our guide on some easy environmentally friendly problem solvers. Having said that, should you determine that the area affected by mold is rather large (ie over 10 sq ft or so), calling a specialist would be a good idea.
Safety comes first
Even though most types of mold are safe to humans, there are certain varieties (like black mold) that are rather toxic. So before you start any cleansing, arm yourself with a pair of sturdy rubber gloves and an N95 respirator. To find out the type of mold and for your own peace of mind, acquire a mold test kit from your local hardware store. Allergies and respiratory difficulties can be aggravated by mold treatments, so purchasing and using this kit would be a good idea.
Eco-Friendly Detergents
Since we want to keep these advices as environmental friendly as possible, I asked asked for advice popular green Toronto realtor, Julie Kinnear, who has some great tips how to clean without chemicals on her blog. "For cost effectiveness, environmentally friendly and usage, white vinegar comes the highest for dealing with mold."
Adaptability is another reason why vinegar is number one, it dissolves lime scale, drives away ants, but it also kills the fungi and bacteria that causes this repulsive mold. For a cheap option to expensive anti-fungal solutions in the shops, that actually works, use distilled white vinegar, which is utterly degradable so eco-friendly.
Elimination and Prevention of mold and mold spores
Mold and its removal has to have more than a single treatment. The expanse the mold has developed must be completely cleaned. Once you have finished that then you need to eliminate the issues that cause mold in the first place. To stop mold spores becoming airborne, where it's practicle wet the area before you endeavor to clean it. Once you have finished cleaning, carefully dry the area.
It is nearly futile and at best extremely difficult to rid surfaces that are porous of mold. You are better off replacing such objects. Prevention is pretty simple. Use a hygrometer in your home to control the humidity and repair any water leaks, pay special attention to hard to reach areas as these will also be hard to clean. Simple preventative steps such as constant airing is important. Keeping the humidity to less than 60% helps stop mold reappearing. In the summer months, an air conditioner will help to reduce the humidity under control (make sure you regularly clean the filters—dirty filters are another nice place for mold). On the opposite vein, acquire a dehumidifier for those cold and wet days. Best of luck, and here's to a mold free property.
