Whitehorse is neighborhood i am very familiar with. I have been adding neighborhoods i have lived in with the hope of providing and inside perspective. Whitehorse is newer homes built around 1999 and after. Some of them have lovely views of Smith Rock and night lights. There is neighborhood park nearby and it is conveniently located to get on Hwy 97 to commute to Bend. The nice thing is that it is on the southwest side of town so you don't have to go through city center traffic (it used to be a bigger issue than it is now). It used to take me about 15-20 minutes to get to work in southwest Bend when i commuted from there which is very nice. The new Ray's Market makes it conveniently located to shopping.
