How can you support your local merchants and save money?
Redmond DownTown Dollars of course!

By now you're asking, "What the heck is a DownTown Dollar."
Here's the answer: Redmond DownTown Dollars are printed "money" that can be purchased at Redmond City Hall.
Why would I do that? To save 25% on anything purchased at participating merchants.
Redmond DownTown Dollars are sold at 75% of face value. So $20 DownTown Dollars costs you a mere $15.
So who are these "participating merchants"? You might be surprised! Click here for a complete list.
Here is a brief list to wet your appetite: Mustard Seed Cafe, WineStyles of Redmond, One Street Down Cafe, Brickhouse Steak & Raw Bar, Cooks N Counters, Paulina Springs Books.

Celebrating 5 Years of Food & Fun! - Saturday March 21st - Free Live Music!

Coyote Ranch Restaurant, Redmond, OR
Many locals, including my husband and I, have been enjoying Coyote Ranch since it opened five years ago. One of the things that has always stood out is the owner involvement and genuine concern for how we are enjoying our food and time at Coyote. We've gotten to know the staff, most of whom have stayed with the restaurant from the beginning, and feel like we've also made some new friends along the way.
Each year Coyote Ranch throws a bit of a celebration to commemorate another year in Redmond, OR by having drawings and give aways to show their customers (us!) that we are appreciated.
This year the celebration has risen to a new level!
With the recent opening of the Dance Hall, Coyote Ranch has added plenty of room for events and live music.
This Saturday, March 21st,
Coyote is providing live music from Countryfied with no cover to continue the celebration.
Hope to see you there!

The Christmas Season is upon us!
It's time for Santa to head out and start shopping. Let's head to Downtown Redmond and see what the local merchants have to offer.

Dawson Station is a great place to start, with it's many offerings all from one parking spot!
Christmas Cards are a must, so let's start at Shelf Life Books. Pick out your cards, a Christmas book for the kids, and a gift for your favorite reader. Have a nice latte and a seat and get those cards filled out ASAP!
Now off to Cooks N Counters for the chef in the family, with many cooking accessories to choose from. Is your favorite chef still a chef in training? Then maybe a cookbook or a variety of gadgets to make even the novice look good.
We've got a little shopping in, so why not stop by Raymond James & Associates for some financial planning advice to kick off the new year. They will serve you well.
All of that shopping and financial talk has made me hungry! There is no better place for lunch than the Mustard Seed Cafe, now under new ownership (more on that to follow later!). A variety of sandwiches, salads and more are sure to fit the tastes of everyone in the group.
It's time to pamper your favorite pooch, so off to Doggie Style, located just across the street. Pick up a few special treats or have your pet groomed for the holidays. I can tell you from experience they do an excellent job.
A little more shopping under the belt, now it's time to talk Real Estate. What better gift could there be than a new home to start the new year?! At a time when values are to be found, a stop by Desert Sky Real Estate is in order.
Need some upgraded landscaping for your new home? Aqua Escape Water Gardens will help you plan that new water feature, a nice touch for any home.

I don't know about you, but I'm shopped out (well almost) for one day. Let's top the trip off with a nice glass of wine at WineStyles of Redmond. As you sip your wine, stroll through the store and pick up those final gifts, including a nice bottle of wine for that next holiday party you're off to. There are many snacks and accessories to choose from, so you may need one more glass of wine to finish browsing for that perfect gift.
Merry Christmas & Happy Shopping!
