At Costa Pacific Homes, we are currently working on construction plans for the new Trafalgar Flats in the Villebois Village Center in Wilsonville, Oregon. These one- and two-bedroom single-level homes will range in size between 725 and 1,102 square feet, and will offer buyers open, airy great room floor plans with a living area, dining nook and kitchen.

Priced starting in the mid-$100,000s, these condominiums are perfect for anyone from the twentysomething professional to the retiree who is tired of living cramped amongst the masses in downtown Portland, Oregon. We have accepted our first reservation on the new Trafalgar Flats and are now taking reservations for the remaining homes in these unique buildings.

We will also break ground soon on the new Carvalho Carriages, which will feature a 594-square foot, one-bedroom, one-level plan and easy access to the amenities in the Village Center.

This week, Cinema Libre Studio releases its documentary titled "Sprawling From Grace: The Consequences of Suburbanization" nationwide. Featuring an interview with Rudy Kadlub, CEO of Costa Pacific Communities, the film explores the ravages of America's suburban sprawl, what has been lost as a result, and the perils America may face if individuals don't change the way in which cities are built. The film will be available in select retailer stores as well as the major inline retailers such as Amazon, iTunes, and Netflix.

From building materials and natural amenities to community designs and transportation options, at Costa Pacific we believe in sustainability, diversity and connectivity when it comes to developing complete communities that epitomize a New Urban design. In doing so, we create unique places like Villebois in Wilsonville, Oregon in which people love to live.

Help us plan the market

We are looking for volunteers who would like to take a leadership role in market planning in the following areas:

Entertainment

Committee chairs: Everett and Jeanne Lapp This committee is responsible for recruiting and selecting at least one musical and/or theatrical entertainment for each week of the Villebois Sunday Market. This committee will also maintain the event calendar, which market managers will use for promotional purposes.

Activities

This committee is responsible for planning activities for children in the market's Activities Tent. This committee will also staff the Activities Tent and help with activity implementation. This committee will also maintain the activities calendar, which market managers will use for promotional purposes.

Opening Day Dog Parade

In recognition of National Pet Week (May 3-9), we will have a small dog parade and/or contest. This sub-committee will be responsible for defining this event, determining its route and start time, partnering with local vets, pet stores, etc.

Works closely with market managers and all other market committees. This committee is the primary committee for outreach to Wilsonville schools.

Help us run the market

If you'd like to join in on the fun, but you don't have the time to help with market planning, we are also looking for people to help at the market itself. Some of the opportunities available each Sunday are:

  • Market greeters: welcome shoppers and measure (people) traffic
  • Vendor liaisons: get to know the day's vendors and serve as the link between them and the on-site market manager (so they get help more quickly without detracting from customer service)
  • Welcome Tent staff: provide shoppers with information about Villebois, the market, vendors and market partners/sponsors; provide information to potential volunteers; and keeper of the volunteer sign-in and sign-out sheet
  • The Green Team: walks the market, helping people find trash cans and recycle bins, helps with set up and take down, and generally keeps the market clean and pollutant free
  • Market Watch: walks the market, helping parents who've lost track of their children (it can happen) and serves as a citizen security force, alerting the on-site market managers to any individuals disrupting the overall peace.
