Delaire Landing Condominiums is located in the 19114 zip-code in the Torredale section of Philadelphia Pa.The Grounds here are perfectly manicured by professional landscapers.There are a variety of beautiful trees,bushes,and flowers,to be maintained.With every change of season the flowers are replaced around most of the sections to reflect the seasons. The sections such as the Gardens plant their own flowers but do have the landscapers maintain the area.It is quite a lovely place..Don't be surprised if late at night you see a raccoon or an another park like animal..but don't worry ..they are just occasional visitors..they are not residents.

Delaire Landing Condominiums do have families of CANADIAN Geese.They do live here year around.Some residents dislike them.Some enjoy them.The Canadian Geese are found by the water along the river.Delaire Landing Condominiums being a waterfront Community is subject to having the luxury of East coast water birds on the property.For bird watchers we have seen some beautiful strange looking rare birds.

Delaire Landing Condominiums also has wonderful tennis courts where you can enjoy playing a great game of tennis.There you can enjoy the view of the river while playing your partner or playing doubles.Whatever your choice may be you certainly have a fantastic setting.What better placement for an outdoor tennis court.

Delaire Landing Condominiums has its own place to vote when election time comes.It has its own poll Booth in 19114 NE District of Phila. Pa. There is also an on site shuttle bus that will take you shopping on scheduled days and times.The shuttle also takes residents to the Septa train and picks up.How convient is that.

Delaire Landing Condominiums also has the most beautiful pools.There is a lap pool and a heated pool.The pools at Delaire Condominiums are truly scenic.They overlook the Delaware river so as you are swimming you may also watch the ships and boats pass by.How lovely it is and surrounded by tall trees.

Delaire Landing Condominums new recreation center will be opening soon.Can you imagine watching football games on the new 1080p TV or a great movie on this 52" screen what fun,what excitement.Where is the pop-corn? Well don't let the card players hear you say that.They are having a game of their own and serious fun at that.

Delaire Landing condos are renovating its recreation center.They had not been updated in many years.The main entrance room and that overlooks the beautiful pools and scenic Delaware River where you can watch boats and ships pass by..what a view..

Delaire Landing is Located in the Torresdale section of Philadelphia Pa.It is a Gated Community located on the Delaware River .The residents call it the best kept secret in Philadelphia Pa.

Minutes from center city there is a shuttle bus that runs daily to the SEPTA train station..and minutes outside of Bucks county Pa

Delaire Landing has many activities in the main room of the recreation center. There is a fireplace where a 52" Sharp Aquas LCD 1080P was purchased by the Master council..Will Kane(Vice president) and his sons were kind enough to shop,find the best price,and pick-up and deliver the TV to the rec center.It will be professionally mounted and installed this week.I am not sure but I think a stereo surround sound system may be installed also..What a fantastic place to watch the sports games or enjoy a great movie with friends.There are four large leather sofas ordered. They should be delivered shortly after the set up of the 52"LCD 1080 P TV..

Delaire Landings Recreation also has a library that has been restored with the help of Judy Feinberg,Dot Holmes,and Judy Plymouth.They have worked very hard to go through all the books ,put them in the right categories and neatly put them in alphabetical order.The next project will be DVD and video ..All of the books and video are donated by the residents of Delaire Landing Condos.When you want one you just take it ..When you are finished you bring it back..It is done on the honor system

Delaire Landing Recreation Center also has a card-room where afternoon and evening card games take place.Neighboring condo residents from Bakers Bay join in the games.New card tables and chairs were recently purchased for these games that are enjoyed by many residents and their guests..

Delaire Landing Recreation Center has a gym and work out room we are looking into some newer equipment in the future ..renovations cannot be done all at one time

Delaire Landing Condos in the Torresdale section Of Philadelphia Pa. A beautiful Gated Community.This is Will Kane the president of our condo association and his son Danny.They have been working very hard to restore the Asian Gardens located in our Courtyard atCondo section #1 called the GARDENS known for the beautiful flowers and gardens.

We have been very fortunate to have a new neighbor John a gardener by hobby . He knows how to shape and trim up bushes. Here we are a group of us working hard. Together we can clean up this beautiful Garden that has been neglected for so many years. It was back breaking work. Bushes that had been only topped and trimmed..Leaves that had been blown underneath these bushes for years and had to be bagged and disposed of. There were old bottles and lots of other trash.

Then came the electric saws..the rakes,the brooms,clipper, and numerous trash bags...

It was a beautiful warm day in Delaire Landing .The sun was shinning .The birds were singing.The neighbors came out with extra trash bags .The walkers came to chat and watch.Some of the neighbors sat on the benches and observed.Yes it was a Fresh Spring smell in the air. The cutting of the bushes smelled so good..Arms were bleeding from the stickers;but that did not stop the hard-work or determination....to restore this garden...Spring water,soda,and iced tea that was the drink of choice today....Trudy and I raked and loaded up the trash bags with all the debris as the men cut and shaped the trees and bushes.We had the easy job compared to backbreaking job that they did!

Now we have to take the big branches to the dump!Maury,John,Will.Trudy,and myself piled up all the big branches and put them behind Danny's pickup truck.We had to load it up. After numerous trips Danny and Will disposed of as much as they could..the rest will have to be picked up by other means.

We could have hired a landscaper to do this job but it would have cost the residents at Delaire Landing Condos thousands of dollars! So as a group all pitching in together.. working hard enjoying each others company.. we not only saved money... we learned from each other... enjoyed the sunshine and spring fresh air,,and felt a great feeling of accomplishment and camaraderie...... Now every year as the Garden grows we can Share and Reminisce....

Delaire Landing Condo is Located in the Torresdale section of Philadelphia Pa. It is a Gated Community .This project was started in the Spring by the residents of Condo One called the Gardens.There are eight condo associations that join together in one Master Council.

What a HAPPY DAY..another HAPPY CONDO OWNER in Delaire Landing Condo..

Bank of America put the wrong address on the mortgage documents..so we had to wait for new mortgage papers.The first time home buyer wanted to go with his own bank.He is an International Hockey Player and felt it would be easier because some of his funds were in Euros and some in Us dollars..His bank was BANK of America.OKAY that should not be to difficult.He had excellent credit great income ,20% down, the perfect buyer..Everything was approved,appraised,and we were ready to go not a problem...

Wrong...Luckily the property was an estate and he was not moving in the day of settlement..

There was not a condo questionnaire sent to the condo association..there was not a request for a master insurance policy from the association with the mortgagee clause..nor was the buyer informed that he needed a HO6 homeowners policy..Delaire Landing has a wonderful association and had everything sent back in a very timely manner as soon as It was requested . Bank of America still insisted he did not need a HO6 insurance policy..Although I kept insisting he did.

Wrong again..Luckily the buyer obtained one immediately..which he would have done if he had been told to but Bank of America was insisting he did not need it..

These last minute details went on and on.The Buyer,Sellers,Agents and Title company worked very hard to comply with all these items that fell through the cracks items that should have been taken care of before the day before settlement.. these items took 2 days ..We did our job .Someone dropped the puck and it was not us....

This should have been a Stress Free day for the BUYER

All is well that ends well ..He is Happy now! Eligible for his $8000 tax credit

Maybe someone from the FLYERS HOCKEY TEAM will see what a great Sports Player Ray is and Grab him..He is someone I would want on my Team he did whatever he had to do to get the puck in the net and score..
