November 22, 2009 marks the anniversary of the most tragic day in American history of the 21st century. The assassination of the most powerful man in the world, a sitting American President, John Fitzgerald Kennedy.
Some would say that 9/11 is a more tragic event. Not to minimize or marginalize the event or the thousands of lives lost, the comparison is different.
No matter how devastating 9/11 was, we are able to reconstruct the facts of that day, know who the enemy was, and are preparing to bring some of those co-conspirators to justice.
Justice is closure in our legal system. Justice is punishment to those who perpetrated the deed. But for John there has been no justice. Not even truth!
- On November 22, 1963 in Dallas Texas a duly elected American President was gunned down as part of a political conspiracy. A cover up involving people in the highest government offices and agencies took place to conceal the nature of the deed from the American public. Those involved profited politically and monetarily.
No justice has ever been served!
There are those walking the streets of the United States today who either participated, helped cover up or became co-conspirators after the fact.
Others lived comfortable lives surrounded by their loved ones and died peaceably. They celebrated holidays, went on vacations, made fortunes, put their children through college, held their grandchildren and lived the good life.
All the while, they enjoyed peace and prosperity having deprived another human being of that same reasonable expectation in his pursuit of happiness. Not any human being,
The President of the United States.
The future of our country, the path into war, our economy, our social initiatives, our peace initiatives, and our destiny was stopped cold in its tracks by ruthless assassins. Men hired to fulfill the dreams of those who were unable by their abilities to achieve them on their own. Those who would deceive the American Public and profit by her naivete.
Who is to say what might have been but for that fateful day and the men determined to gain by slaughtering a political foe?
Did John Kennedy have faults? The answer must be of course. No President is without them. Did John Kennedy want to change this nation and completely dismantle our country as we know it? No he did not. Did Kennedy love his country, our freedoms and the liberty for which we stood? Nothing he did indicates he was other than a true American patriot.
Did John Kennedy want to unleash the horrific power of the United States military against those we perceived to be our aggressors? No he did not.
This fact is key to understanding at least in part, why he was assassinated.
He was in the process of negotiating a peaceful resolution to Vietnam 3 weeks before his assassination.
There are those who branded him a coward and a traitor for attempting to broker peace. One has only to review his military record and PT109 to know the man was far from a coward.
Kennedy was in negotiations with the Ngo Dinh Diem leader of South Vietnam an anti-socialist regime through the assistance of Russia. Diem and his brother were assassinated before an agreement could be reached.
There is evidence that has come to light that Robert McNamara and/or McGeorge Bundy may have ordered the hit. At the same time this took place Richard Helms, also CIA was in Southesast Asia on a mission.
- Kennedy knew he had a mole in his administration. It is unclear who he might have suspected, but he took no action to fire anyone after the Diem assassination. Kennedy was deeply disturbed and ordered the removal of our troops.
In the first blog of this series the elements necessary to carry out a coup d' e- tat were discussed. The flawless execution of this deed required co-operation from the highest law enforcement agencies in the country. The very men entrusted with his life participated in the plot to betray him.
- Over the years many people have offered first hand accounts that escaped or were omitted from both the Warren Commission or the House Select Committee on Assassinations testimony. As they become available to the public Kennedy researchers post them on the Internet.
President Kennedy did not ask for the bubble top to be removed. Kennedy did not request that Secret Service agents stay off his car. The parade route was changed at the last minute.

At the conclusion of the House Select Committee on Assassinations in 1979 it was established there were multiple shooters and therefore a conspiracy had taken place.
Where were they? How many shots were fired? How many shooters were there?
To understand how this was accomplished one needs to examine Dealey Plaza more closely.
The focus of attention has always been centered on the School Book Depository as the origin of the shots. As the conspiracy was proven, not only the grassy knoll became a vantage point but a little recognized building know as the Daltek builiding on the corner of Elm St. was identified as a likely snipers nest.
The Daltek building had the best unobstructed line of fire from an elevated position.The Daltek Building can be seen in the photo of Dealey Plaza. It is the white building to the right of the Book Depository facing down Elm St.
Investigations conducted after the discovery of a Dallas Police Dictaphone belt, number the total shots at as few as 4, more likely 7 and possibly 9.
- In a multiple shooter scenario simultaneous or fractionally simultaneous shots would sound like one and be difficult to discern. Dealey Plaza was surrounded by buildings on 3 sides. The roadway dipped down. The topography and the buildings created an echo effect making direction difficult to pinpoint in a fraction of a second.
- Using testimony and evidence a diagram was constructed to show the origin of the shots and their trajectory. This diagram is the result of comparing the Zapruder film frame by frame to a Dallas police Dictaphone belt introduced as evidence to the House Select Assassinations Committee in 1979.
- (The original tape recordings from the Dallas police were turned over to the FBI but mysteriously were lost before the Warren Commission could hear them. Years later a Dictaphone belt was found that had recorded the transmissions and had previously been overlooked.)
The diagram uses a 6 shot scenario to illustrate the sequence and location of the shots. Those are the number of shots the committee could agree upon. At the top left corner of the diagram is the sequence of shots matched by frame to the Zapruder film by frame.
- There is also testimony from police officers present in Dealey Plaza who said bullets were flying indicating more than 6 shots. While this may be likely there is no evidence available at this time to support that, other than their statements.
The first shot rang out missing the President completely sounding like an echo. Hearing this, Kennedy stops waving and starts to look around.
The second shot was then fired sending the bullet into President Kennedy's throat he then grabs his throat with both hands.
The third shot sent a bullet into Kennedy s back, thrusting him down and forward.
The fourth shot sent a bullet into Connally's back near the rear of his right arm pit.
Connally then yells" My God they re going to kill us all ".
The fifth shot was fired and another bullet missed the President and hit an underpass, fragments from the bullet hit James Taye who was standing under the underpass.
The sixth and final shot sent a fatal bullet to the right lobe of his head, throwing him back and to the left.
- An autopsy was done only on the head to find how much of the brain was lost, no further exam was done to track the bullets or to determine how many bullets were fired into Kennedy. The Doctor was told by high ranking officers in the room when to stop and what not to do.
Since no further investigation was done the magic bullet theory was born, accounting for the wounds to JFK and to Connally.
- First it enters Kennedy's back headed down at an angle of 17 degrees, upward to leave Kennedy s body through his neck, where it stopped in mid air turns right then left were it enters Connally near the back right arm pit. Then moved down at an angle of 27 degrees shattering the fifth rib exits right side of chest, turns right re-entering Connalley s right wrist makes an U turn into his left thigh. Later to be found in perfect condition at the hospital on a stretcher.

Why didn't the FBI want the public to know about the bullet hole in the windshield?
At Parkland hospital multiple witnesses observed a bullet hole in the windshield of the limousine. Large Photo of Limo.

- This next photo was snapped at almost the same time Kennedy is shot through the throat. Kennedy's hands are at his throat.
The scene captured appears calm with barely anyone turning a head. You can see a few do in reaction to a noise they have yet to identify.

President Johnson ordered the blood-soaked limousine filled with bullet holes and clues to be immediately washed and rebuilt . . .
- The Ford Motor Company replaced the limo windshield on the order of the FBI. The Secret Service cleaned all evidence of blood, bullet fragments, replaced carpet and made repairs to any damage found on the limo.

The following report is compiled in 2001 from evidence records of The Secret Service regarding the assassination and specifically the windshield.
"Agent Weldon hypothesises the windshield damage was caused by a shot from the south knoll, perhaps from the storm drain. Secret Service agent Emory Roberts, in command of the agents in the second car, ordered the agents not to move at the sound of the first shot. Roberts also appeared to take command at Parkland Hospital exercising authority he did not posess." (source)
