Prior to moving to the Poconos two years ago, Fischer was a real estate broker in New York since 1989. She also attended and graduated from New York University.

Fischer moved to the Masthope Community in Lackawaxen, PA in 2009. Currently, Fischer is an active member of the Masthope Real Estate committee.

The Masthope Property Owners Association slammed property owners and real estate agents alike with an abrupt change in policy this week, to take effect immediately. All real estate for sale signs for new listings will require a permit, and Open House Signs will require a permit that carries a $25 fee. The new policy states that a window of 7 - 10 days is required for Open House permits - which means it will be unlikely that Open House signs will be allowed this weekend.
