Addison's 2009 Holiday Brunch & Open House

It's time once again for the annual Addison Holiday Open House Brunch! If you are an Addison, Texas resident, our Mayor, Joe Chow, and the city council are inviting you and your family to the Addison Conference & Theatre Centre, 15650 Addison Road on Sunday, December 6th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

In addition to bruch (catered in the past years by Blue Mesa and they'll most likely be catering this year, too), there will be complimentary photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus, holiday music & entertainment, and children's arts & crafts.

The dress is casual or holiday attire. If you are an Addison resident and plan to attend, don't forget to RSVP by Wednesday, December 3rd!

New Addison Listings: October 2009

Addison Real Estate is a great place to be. Addison is slowly but surely becoming the new nightlife hotspot in Dallas. It used to be lower greenville. As lower greenville gets more and more "sketchy" at night it is all now shifting to Addison. Addison homes for sale are being filled with people in the mid 20 to mid 30s. It is becoming a trend for young adults with good careers to move to Addison so they can be in the middle of the ever changing atmosphere of Dallas.

Addison homes for sale can be purchased from around $150,000 and up. These homes are commonly found to be around the $100/sq ft mark. Which is pretty close to average for the Dallas area. However, Addison seems to be emerging in value in the past few years, meaning that it is a very good time to purchase an Addison homes. Addison truly is a unique hot spot in the DFW area and if you want in on the piece of action then you will need to hurry before its all bought up.

Due to the threat of inclement weather, the Midway Meadows National Night Out has been postponed. Originally scheduled for Tuesday evening, October 13th, 2009, the new date is the following week: Tuesday, October 20th.

National Night Out brings neighorhoods together to fight crime and increase communiity awareness through police-community partnerships. It is celebrating its 26th anniversary this year.

In conjunction with National Night Out, the Midway Meadows subdivision in Addison Texas is having a neighborhood get-together at Dome Park (corner of Dome and Sherlock) from 6:30-7:30 pm. Come meet your neighbors, visit with the police and fire fighters, and enjoy cookies and camaraderie.
