Home Sales in Addison Texas in July, 2009

In June 2009, seven properties closed, as compared to eight in July. In the past 6 months, there have been 46 sales in Addison Texas. That may not seem like a lot, but there are only 15,000 residents in Addison and many live in apartments. Addison home prices have held up well during these economic times. MARKET UPDATE: Addison Place Subdivision in Addison Texas 1/1/09 - 6/30/09

The 175 single family homes in the Addison Place subdivision in Addison, Texas are located just north and east of Addison airport at the intersection of Westgrove Road and Sojurn. This area is south of Trinity Mills and west of Addison Road, within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The following streets are in the subdivision (west to east): Westgrove, Knots Landing, Planters Row, Upper Bay, Vinland, and Windward - note that with the exception of Westgrove, they are in alphabetical order.

There are currently 4 homes on the market, ranging from $178,900 to $214,000.

There have been 2 sales in the neighborhood since January 1st, with $97.19 being the average price per sq. ft. (up from $92.94 in the previous six month period). Homes sold from a low of $180,000 to a high of $188,900. The highest sale was at $104.17/sq. ft.
