In thinking of landmarks around the Dallas Ft. Worth area, many things come to mind. Reunion Tower in downtown Dallas, the Ft. Worth Stockyards, the Dealy Plaza JFK site, the Las Colinas (Irving) Mustangs running through the water sculpture, many architectural unique buildings like the InfoMart and the Morton Meyerson Symphony Center. But worldwide, in Irving, the Dallas Cowboys Stadium with the hole cut in the top of it I think everyone knows about (So God can watch his favorite team play). That building which is shut down now and soon to be demolished is local history with many memorable games and concerts that took place there. The brand new Cowboys stadium costing nearly $1.3 billion located nearby in the Ft. Worth suburb of Arlington is the future. Guess what? The hole in the roof remains, although now it has a retractable cover. Able to hold two Houston Reliant Stadiums inside I have toured the building and while cavernous it has an amazing comfortable feel to it. When in the Dallas Ft. Worth area for business or pleasure please drop over to the new Cowboys Stadium which opens June 6th and take in an event with the massive Stadiumvision screen over head, the glass doors on each end, and that friendly hospitality we are known worldwide for around these parts. Remember pardner, EVERYTHING is bigger in Texas!!
They tell me the speakers mounted on the roof are sent in on 18 wheeler trucks!!
