On Friday, February 19th, Keller Williams Realty Northeast will be hosting a free Let's Rodeo concert at Kings Harbor in Kingwood. To help kick off rodeo season, Kingwood-based country music band 8 Seconds will be performing from 7-10pm. If you're interested in kicking your own heels up, instructors from the Dance Arts Country Ballroom will be on hand at Harbor Plaza to teach line dancing and other country dances at 8pm and 9pm. You can even enjoy some fantastic Texas BBQ from local award-winning Pitts & Spitts, manufacturers of high end smokers. They will be offering up chopped beef sandwiches, chips and drinks for sale beginning at 6pm. They accept cash only, so make sure you visit your bank before coming. The Society of Stephen, a local community outreach program, will be raffling off two tickets to see Brooks & Dunn at one of their last performances ever at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in Houston, TX on March 20, 2010. Proceeds from the raffle help to fund the Society of Stephen's program to help feed and clothe families in the Humble, New Caney and Splendora communities.

I had the opportunity to attend a black belt test for a Kingwood client last week - it was incredible!  Testing for her black belt, Madeline McCreight did an awesome job.  She had to display her forms, participate in sparring and finish up with breaking a board.  Madeline made it look easy!  

The Kingwood TaeKwonDo Academy is where Madeline has been taking lessons under the instruction of Victor Jordan, a 7th Degree Black Belt himself.  The lessons help develop self-esteem & self-confidence.  Students learn discipline and self-control in a supportive atmosphere.  And watching the students perform during their belt testing was truly enjoyable.

Keller Williams Realty began its concert series for 2010 with a Zumba! On January 22, concert-goers gathered at Kings Harbor Plaza to enjoy the entertainment. The Latin beat of Dozziz Tropical had everyone pumped and ready to follow the lead of Zumba instructors from our community health clubs.

Those instructors each took a turn leading a dance. Zumba is one of the hottest ways to get in shape. It combines aerobics with dance moves from traditional Latin dances like the merengue, salsa, flamenco and tango. It is energetic, fast and fun! A big thanks to these instructors:

When you are asking for a bid or when you are talking about a job with a contractor, be terribly precise about what you're on the lookout for. After you've concluded on a number, you must also be extremely meticulous about being precise in what you put in writing. Taking this care will guarantee you get precisely what you need, no more and no less.

Talk with many contractors before making a decision on one for sure. Get an understanding of the standard of the contractor's quality of work and integrity.
