The Meadow Lake subdivision is located at the far north end of Lewisville and just east of Highland Village in the zip code of 75077. The boundary roads are Hwy 407, McGee Ln, Bogard Ln, and Valley Ridge.

This subdivision has easy access to I-35, which is right next to it, and is close to Lake Park golf course, Lake Lewisville, many family owned restaurants along with a few fast food restaurants, Aloha fun Zone which used to be a Putt-Putt, Sneaky Pete's Marina, The Lewisville fishing barge, Jet Ski and boat rental, and much more! There is also a park at the west end of the neighborhood with a large play ground for the kids combined with a gazebo for family get togethers that has a jogging- bike path next to it. This is a great neighborhood established in 1984 so the trees are starting to get large and the homes have been kept up really well. The median price home in this neighborhood is $149,000 with the highest priced home at $225,000 and the lowest right at $110,000. The schools are in the Lewisville School District and the schools are; High school: Lewisville North, Middle: Huffines, and Elementary: Valley Ridge.

I highly recommend this neighborhood to my clients that need easy lake access and close access to I-35 that wants to spend around $150,000 for a great three bedroom home.

The City Center of Lewisville, Texas is known as "Old Town" Lewisville which consists of old buildings that have been resurfaced and remodeled in an effort to revitalize the area along Main Street. One of the things that makes Lewisville memorable is the towns tenacity to hang onto its roots in agriculture. From the high school mascot, The Fighting Farmers, to the 100+ year-old Feed Mill, the City of Lewisville screams "farmers!" even if little farming actually takes place here any more.

The coolest "Old Town" Lewisville attraction is the Lewisville Feed Mill which opened it's doors in 1886.
It is the city's oldest continuously operating business. The Polser family has owned the feed mill for 123 years which has been handed down from generation to generation. John Polser is the current family member running the business and has been at the cash register everyday for 32 years. It is a thriving family business that feels like home ... where they remember your name, help you figure out what you need, load your car with a smile and welcome you back time and time again.

The Lewisville Feed Mill is chocked full of livestock feed, landscape equipment, gardening supplies, fertilizers, plants, seeds, pet supplies, tools and more. When you walk through the doors you feel as though you have stepped back in time. The Feed Mill is a great place to take your family... the kids will love it and the young at heart will feel as though they've come home again.

One day in February I spent the afternoon at the Lewisville Feed Mill and had the time of my life. Mr. Polser let me take all the photos I wanted and invited me to visit any time. How do I find out if I could sell my house in the current market?

I had someone ask me this question the other day. It really is a great question. One thing I've found true in the last couple of years is that the "current market" can really vary by community and even by neighborhood.

Many people assume the "current market" is only what they hear and see from the various news outlets. Well, there are some areas that sales have been very slow, and foreclosures high. But there are other areas that are still fairly high in demand, with prices holding steady or even some slight increases.

The real question is how much could you sell your house for in your current market! Assuming that you're within the territory I normally service, my first steps would be to meet with you to perform an evaluation of your home and to perform a comparative market analysis (CMA) of your area that would provide you with detailed information regarding recent sales and listings. If your home is too far away for me to provide you with the quality service you deserve, I could refer you to someone who does cover your area. Just let me know! Most Realtors don't charge to provide the home evaluation and comparative market analysis.
