Southlake Real estate is drop dead gorgeous. I love it. You can purchase a home that is elegant and beautiful for around $300k, or you can go all out and by a 10,000 sq ft mansion on 10 acres for a mere $2,000,000. If you dont believe that everything is bigger in Texas then you quite simply have not seen Southlake yet. Southlake houses for sale resemble hugeness and the best way for Texas. The houses are huge as well as they are giant works of art. Every single detail of them seems to be meticulously thought out and worked on.

Southlake houses for rent can also be a good way to go if you cant find a mortgage because of the terrible state of the economy right now. As the economy continues to get better though, one day you will soon be able to own your dream home in Southlake. For now though, renting is definately not a bad second option.

I can not imagine living anywhere else in the DFW area! Nice people, reasonable housing costs, reasonable property tax's, beautiful neighborhoods. Close to DFW airport to be convenient to all of the DFW metroplex, Easy Highway access. Since we are north of the airport, and the majority of the "wind" in Texas comes in from the south, we seldom have planes taking off (the noisiest part of planes) over our heads. I have lived in the DFW area for over 9 years. We love living and shopping in Flower Mound. We like to shop and eat out in Southlake which is just over the grapevine damn and down hwy 26.
