Tomball, Texas: The Hometown with a Heart
Tomball is a popular place to live in Northwest Harris County. Great schools, historical charm, small town feel with big city conveniences, a community college and the medical district make Tomball, Texas a fantastic town to call home.

Tomball, Texas is home to Tomball ISD, Klein ISD, Concordia Lutheran High School, and Lone Star Community College. Tomball ISD has 7 elementary schools, 2 intermediate schools, 2 junior high schools, and 1 high school. Construction is underway for Tomball's 2nd high school and sports complex and Tomballers are excited!

Main Street in downtown Tomball is quaint and draws big crowds to its shops and historical sites. During the holidays, festive lights don every street lamp post, adding to Tomball's charm. Catch a few parades a year downtown, including the Christmas parade with Tomball's Beauty Pageant contestants waving at young, bright eyed onlookers.
Although Tomball is growing in strides with area attractions like Grand Texas coming in the spring of 2010 and the commuter train to Dallas, no one will allow Tomball to outgrow its small town feel. Tomballers are close knit, friendly, active people with a strong sense of community. It's always enjoyable to hang out in Tomball, Texas.

Real Estate continues to be positive in Tomball. Residentially speaking, 871 homes have already sold this year, with 146 more homes currently under contract and expected to close soon. As Houstonians continue to migrate to the outskirts, many home buyers really want acreage in Tomball. Since these properties are rarely available, I am in great anticipation of the newly redesigned subdivision coming to Tomball with premium acreage lots and upscale custom homes. More on this later...
The 21st is a special day in November this year. I look forward to the Miss Tomball Beauty Pageant following the Holiday Parade on November 21st this year. This annual event is so much fun for Tomball, especially the high school senior girls who compete to represent Tomball as an Ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce, who organizes this fabulous fund raiser. Old and young people love to watch the parade down Main Street in the morning. This year's theme is Christmas around the World and will be beautiful. The night ends with the crowning of the 2010 Miss Tomball!

There are so many wonderful qualities in Tomball, some huge, some small, some old, some new, some tangible, some not, but some...thing special for everyone. Come see for yourself. Planning a move? Visit my website for the consumer tools you need to get informed about the city and your move.

Tomball College Fall Fest 2009 was rocking the house today. They combined the normal Fall Fest activities with Halloween this year. The decorations and balloons were everywhere in the commons area of Tomball College and there was even a Disc Jockey playing rock/rap music for part of the day. Various school clubs and activities were represented.
Close up of Trevor the Timberwolf who is the mascot for Tomball College. He was getting "wrapped" by students.
Here is the DJ and he even did the record scratch thing. There were lots of kids dancing before I took this picture, but I guess they wandered off to eat some goodies.
Another cute blow up decoration that was in the commons of Tomball College.
A different view of the Fall Fest. Notice all the people in the purple t-shirts, they were given to the people involved in the activities today. Last year the Fall Fest was held outside with a live band, but due to the thunderstorms we are having this week it is a good thing they had the event indoors.
When you are ready to buy, build or sell a home, call me at 832-816-8066, I can help.
